“Excellent Value”
This hotel was a great value for the money. Close to the U-Bahn, and walking to most of the main sites was simple. The beds were comfortable, the room warm, the restroom was clean with hot water, and the breakfast was great. It was also interesting to be in the old east part of Berlin. I will definetly return to Berlin and will stay at the same hotel. Great deal and great hotel, expecially for the price!
“Worth for its money”
Arriving at the hotel, you will think that you might shouldn't have booked this hotel. Outside it looks like an 'abandonned' building... But the rooms are clean and HUGE:they have bedrooms & living rooms & huge, clean bathroom. The breakfast was quite good but please go downstairs before 9 since it doesn't have a lot of space and waiters. Overall, if you want to visit Berlin with low cost and full of quality accomodation, please book this hotel.
“Pretty good”
The breakfast was amazing and everyone at the desk spoke english. The room was clean and spacious, yet the bathroom was tiny and oddly shaped. Overall a great place for the money.
“Very good comfortable hotel”
Clean, comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast. Only two tram stops from Alexanderplatz U&S Bahnhof
“Don't be put off by the outside!”
When first arriving the thought is oh my god what have we done!!! Its just an obvious east berlin cold war apartment block. HOwever, once through the door you are met with warmth, courtessy, and the best sized rooms under a grand! Frequented during our stay by travellers from around the world from 16-80! all of whom had a smile and a gutte Morgen for each other, worth a second visit for me and a first for you! Chazzy-B
“'Til we meet again”
We were delighted with the hotel in every respect. Staff were courteous and the breakfast buffet was an excellent start to the day (especially with a marathon to run!)Maybe some of the distances in the description could be changed (definitely not 1km to Brandenburg Gate) We would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

“Great Value”
This hotel was very good value, it is not fancy but very large clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast. Close to Museum Island and Alexandrplatz. Would stay here again.
“Love this city...”
This hotel was well located and had a wonderful eastern block feel. We were curious to know what the hotel was before a hotel, the room had a sense of a former apartment. The service was excellent and hot buffet breakfast vast and filling. The walk from Alexanderplatz station was a little long (with packs) but there was a tram (which we didn't use).
“Good hotel in berlin”
