“Beautiful Stay:)”
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during our first trip to Big Bear. As soon as we arrived, we noticed how friendly and helpful the staff members are. The location of the hotel was also very convenient. Even without a car we were able to walk around and stay entertained for the two days that we were there. The room was also very cozy and warm after our long days out in the snow. We are planning on staying at the Marina Resort for all of our trips to Big Bear in the future and we have already recommended the hotel to our family and friends!
“stop searching and book now!”
great place. clean, very comfortable, near everything. cozy pine wood decor gives it a cabin like feel. rooms are always clean and the bedding is up to date. they have upgraded to flat panel tv's. picturesque view of lake and mountains from your private balcony. right next to "the village" and minutes from resorts and rec areas. big bear is a beautiful place to visit and this hotel compliments that. cons: when they replaced the tv's they took out the dresser/stands for the old tv's. kinda makes it difficult if you got a lot clothes and stuff and are staying for a while. the carpets are kinda stained, but is understandable considering snow, and other recreational activity that you can do in the area. also, the insulation is not the best, but noise on all my stays here has been minimal and nothing intolerable considering i am a light sleeper.
“Would definitely stay again”
Clean, newly-remodeled-looking room, very comfy bed, beautiful lake view, working outdoor spa, great location
“Night stay”
The hotel decor was nicely themed. The beds were so comfortable and the view was amazing. I really appreciated the balcony for watching the sunset. The hotel was so close to the village, we could have just walked everywhere.
“Best location in Big Bear Lake”
We stayed at the Marina Resort for thee nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property is a little older but the location right on the lake makes up for it. They are also replacing old TVs with new flat screens. The pool was heated, spa enjoyable. We had breakfast in front of the lake every morning. The rooms also have balconies (a little small). There is also a small playground. There were weddings held each day but because our room location was ath the other end of the hotel, it did not bother us. All in all, it was a very relaxing get-away for me and my family.
“Beautiful view”
Beautiful view, nice rooms although they are small. Good service and attitude. Great for the price. Very good location. I would definetely stay there my next visit.
“Better than expected!”
I was afraid of staying there 'coz I read a couple of bad reviews(now,I don't know what they were talking about!) the Marina Resort is in a very good location, has swimming pool, jacuzzi... fantastic view of the lake (from every room) very relaxing place to stay, the staff was very friendly. The hotel it's close to the village and other points of interest. A great value.
“Nice Hotel right on the lake.”
I picked this hotel because it is right on the water and each room has a balcony to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds luxurious. The only down side was that the rooms are very narrow. There is just a narrow path between the beds and the TV cabinet.
“Great Place to Stay”
It was a cozy room, very spacious for two queen beds. very clean and the best past was it was close to the slopes. it made going and coming very easy. awesome view of the lake because you actually walk to it. i would stay there again.
“Love the boat slip!!! Will definately return soon.”
The hotel grounds are very well kept and pretty. There are many different summer/fall activities to do right at the hotel such as; volleyball, ping pong, swimming, boating, and a childrens park. The room was unique and very comfortable. Loved the mountain decor! The bed was also very comfortable. All rooms have a lake view which is wonderful at sunrise. There are resturants within walking distance and the slopes are only minutes away!
