“Overall satisfied”
Clean rooms and bathrooms. Courteous reception desk. Arranged for morning taxi on time. Ok to Fair morning complimentary breakfast, which could be better. Nothing warm. Fairly priced.
“Recommend for the price!!”
Really liked the stay. For the price, it was perfect. The staff was really friendly. The rooms were very clean. The air conditioner was running and the fridge was to...way different from what I've been used to. Great stay!
“Not a bad experience”
After reading some of the reviews that this hotel was given, I was very skeptical of staying here. I decided to give it a try and expericence it for my own opinion and I must say, a lot of the other reviews were quite surprising. My experience at this hotel was not unsatisfactory at all. For the single night I was there, the staff were friendly, the upkeep of the room was tidy, the a/c and heat worked well, the remote worked, and the breakfast was pleasing (consisted of toast, waffles, danishes, coffee, cereal, tea). There was a weird looking insect on my jacket top after I left the room but, other than that I will stay here again if I find myself on another business trip to Birmingham.
“Very Quiet”
The hotel was a very nice, quiet hotel. I could tell that the facility was full due to the amount of cars that were in the parking lot, but we had no trouble at all with noise. I would recommend the Oxford to any and all of my friends. Thank you very much for a nice visit.
“Not hard to please”
I was well pleased with the rooms. The staff was very polite, and helpful. The only area of concern was the check-in time, which was 3:00 P.M. The overall experience was great. I will be using this one again.
“Clean, comfy, conveniently located”
Staff was friendly and helpful. Located just minutes from downtown, easy access to the freeway and all kinds of shopping really close. But, I was not impressed with the continental breakfast.

If you're headed for a quick business trip or to see a Talladega race, this is a decent place.

O.K. at best. Very friendly staff, but poor quality rooms. Shower drain was very slow, water was past my ankles before I finished my shower. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets barely fit. O.K. for one night but that's all.

Hotel was ok for a one night stay and was good for the price.
