“Nice quiet hotel convenient to NEC”

Second time I've stayed here and I like it. Very quiet, country setting, which I found very relaxing. Nice golf courses and pretty good on-site restaurant. It's about a 7-minute drive to the NEC for conventions and shows. Cab fares can be expensive from here, so consider renting a car.

“Excellent service”

Beautiful surroundings, execellent service not just on arrival but throughout our stay. Receptionist gave me a tour of the hotel to familiarise myself - the layout is wonderfully quirky - lots of little stairs leading to the spa, pool and conference areas. Leisure facilities were also excellent and the Cedarwood spa is beatutifully decorated and again the staff there were very helpful, even after I smudged my newly painted nails. Staff in the cocktail bar were friendly and breakfast was varied and tasty. Great deal on the room through Expedia too so all in all a very enjotable stay - can't think of anything negative to say

“Nice hotel”

Overall the hotel was very good, but I was disappointed that a hotel of this quality did not offer sugar free jam and juices with their breakfast to assist Diabetics.

“This is decent hotel”

Ive stayed at this hotel a number of times and have to say, once you take away the rather drab corridors and they maze of a layout it is a very good 4* hotel. The rooms are very good. It is not the place for a romantic weekend, but is an excelent corporate venue

“Room with a view”

LOcation of the Hotel is lovely,specially early morning view from your room,I believe Wifi should be free for customers.Overall its is a very comfortable hotel I would recommend and will stay again on my next trip

“Could've done better!”

I've stayed here before and it was lovely. However, the hotel is currently being refurbished and they are using a temporary reception. Finding this reception in the dark is almost impossible - only one tiny sign. The walk from the reception to my room was ridiculously long and the signage again almost non-existent. Breakfast was dreadful.
