“Great place for the price”

My stay at Ramada Limited in Blue Ridge, Ga. was a nice experience. The staff was courteous and helpful. In fact, I had booked on the internet and made a reservation for one night when I needed two, i booked again and didn't notice that the second night was for a completely different type of room. Upon arrival, I asked the desk worker if I could stay in the same room both nights and she said that it would be no problem. That in itself made the stay very worthwhile.

“We would stay here again.”

The hotel was easy to find with clean grounds and a nice reception area. Our room was clean, although it's obvious this is an older facility. The refurbish work on the hotel and room was well done but there's a bit more to do to bring it completely up to date. The room had everything we could ask for and we won't hesitate to stay there again.

“don't use computer map”

Google map is normally a great map, but when I followed the instructions to this motel I ended up on a high ridge north of Blue Ridge on a one lane dirt driveway in a driving rain storm. The wonderful police in Blue Ridge helped me to find the actual location which is right off the main road.

“Okay hotel for the price”

We stayed at the Ramada for 3 nights and found it to be in decent condition. With the exception that our room kind of smelled like somebody had smoked in there previously. What's funny is we didn't even notice it until the second day. There was a little deck near the pool that had a nice view of the hilly country. We sat out there in the evenings and it was very nice. I've heard that the cabins in Blue Ridge are very reasonable so I think that we would rather go with that option on our next visit.
