“Carribean Club - Bonaire's Hidden Resort”
A very out of the way quaint place to stay, everyone is very accommodating and extremely polite. I will definitely stay there again!
“Awesome hotel for the price!”
Great place with good people, a bit out of town so it's a nice private and quiet setting...they have 2 pools, a nice menu/food at their resturant, breakfast was free and the staff is absolutely fantastic. Keep in mind one thing: as you should expect this is NOT a fancy hotel because of it's extremely low price point....if you're looking for 4-star resort on the beach, this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a nice place with a laid back atmosphere and you recognize that low-cost comes with a few minor flaws, then this is a really good option in Bonaire. We love this place and if we go back we'll probably stay there again
“Bonaire Coast”
Very nice hotel about ten minutes drive from downtown. Very convenient if you're doing shore diving. Great staff, good dive shop. NIce breakfast and bar.
“Surprised”
We thorougly enjoyed staying in club Bonaire. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is quiet, yet there is plenty of opportunity to make contact with other guests at happy hour and/or other occasions. Hotel is a bit out of the way with respect to Kralendijk, but this is compensated by being close to some of the best diving sites. Its distance with respect to kralendijk ( initially a worry of ours) proved to be of minor importance, since wherever one decides to stay, some form of motorised transport is needed to get around.
“very pleased”
The hotel was quiet and very laid back which is exactly what we needed. The staff was very helpful and kind. location was exellent.
“comforatable stay”
The most surprised fact was the balance of quality and price. Although price is not high at all, room was very clean with breakfast! Since this resort is not located in centre the atmosphere was so quiet and we could have very nice reluxing moment. Local stuff treated clients nicely and it made us comfortable as well.
“Needs some work, but the front of house staff was terrific.”
We spent two weeks at this hotel and enjoyed our trip immensely. Now the hotel is in a bit of disrepair, if you are fussy about the details, this is not the place for you. The bar and office staff are really great, but heaven forbid you want your room cleaned. We had room service twice in two weeks. My only helpful hint might be to leave a tip the very first day and see if you get better service. Originally in 207, it was nice enough, but its close to a VERY loud construction site. We asked to be moved, I was ill and the jackhammers didn't help my recovery! The office staff immediately gave us another room, 212 which was much quieter and had a hammock and wrap around porch. Also: Far from town, (10 mins) but nice house reef You need a vehicle Close to a little grocer Zhong Kong Theft is a reality here, so don't leave anything in your vehicle and just leave the car unlocked to prevent damage.
“Country bungalows and seaside homes”
Clean, friendly staff. a bit far from town so a car or scooter a must, but a very nice spot!
“Off the Beaten Path”
The hotel is slightly distant - 4 miles - from everywhere. I had a scooter, and a friend nearby had a truck. For divers dives, you will need transpo unless you utilize the friendly dive shop. The inexpensive rooms are very modern, nice. but small, and a fairly good deal. Larger suites are very nice with cooking facilities, frige, and porch. There's a nice bar and restaurant. Sweet pool. 200 yards from the gorgeous waters. Small platform and ladder, but no beach. A dive site in itself. The grounds are presently under construction which means dumpsters amid pretty trees, but a slightly ugly view. The staff is VERY, VERY nice and friendly. If you are a couple looking to be alone, it is great. I was there in January, off-season, and I had the place to myself. Quite nice. No social scene. In-season, I imagine quite different.
“Nicely Isolated”
I stayed in one of the newer one bedroom apartments and it was very nice. The food at the Carribean Club sometimes was very good and sometimes average. The dive shop was friendly and helpfull. I loved the location, away from the two major towns and residential areas, and close to the northern dive sites. It is a simple resort without the ammenities that other resorts have but perfect for those who want to get away from the crowds.
