Dining
Parker's - Appointed with oak paneling and Waterford chandeliers, Parker's serves American and Continental cuisine, including its famous Parker House Rolls and Boston Cream Pie. John F. Kennedy proposed to Jacqueline Bouvier at Table 40.
Parker's Bar - Mahogany paneling, a fireplace, and stained-glass windows provide appealing surroundings for cocktails, along with dining from the Parker's menu. The spot was popular with Boston's Saturday Club, a 19th-century literary group that included Thoreau, Emerson, and Oliver Wendell Holmes.
The Last Hurrah - This bar draws locals and Beacon Hill politicians for drinks and meals. It has a lighter, more casual feel than Parker's and is a good spot for people-watching both inside and out along School and Tremont streets.

“Great Middle of Boston location”
Great location. Easy access to most Boston areas of interest. T-line(subway) was great way to save your feet some walking. Room & Bathroom small but very nice & top notch from cleanliness & all other needs. Hotel restaurant breakfast is expensive but there are many close by Dunkin Donuts & coffee shops for quick reasonable value breakfasts.
“Would stay here every time”
We arrived at the Boston Omni Parker Hotel in December 2008 - this is our second visit to this Hotel. We were upgraded to a corner suite on the 7th floor for no extra charge - what a fantastic room!! This was especially nice as it was extremely cold in Boston, so it was very comfortable to stay in one evening! I cannot fault this hotel, the staff were very helpful and friendly.
“Historical Stay in a Historical city”
I feel like I'm receiving a 'real' vacation package using Expedia. Flight - check Hotel - check Good time - check Prices are also competitive. Thank you Expedia!
“Quiet Comfort”
The Omni beds and bedsheets were so soft and warm I never wanted to leave them! The rooms are "petite" in general, but it's not a real concern as they have arranged everything to fit just so. Rooms have plush bathrobes and slippers, free internet, irons/ironing boards, etc. Great place to stay!
“Excellent Hotel”
Really, an excellent but affordable hotel in the heart of downtown Boston. Room was clean and well-tended; shower was wonderful; everything as one would want to spend a night.
“Here more than Home”
Great fitness room, great location and friendly staff
“Very cool old historical hotel”
We felt privileged to stay at the oldest established hotel in the U.S. Very exciting history to explore in and of course around the hotel. Located ON the Freedom Trail across from the first Public School in the U.S. and the old City Hall (great statue of Ben Franklin in courtyard) made it the perfect location to stay in Boston. The Lobby was very Boston. Make sure you read all about the history of the hotel when you stay there. Just a very cool place for our first visit to Boston.
“Loved it!”
We had a gorgeous room with 2 double beds and a nice little sitting area, very beautiful furniture. The lobby is quite impressive. The location is super-convenient for tourists and walking the Freedom Trail - only a block from Boston Common and across the street from the Granary Burial Ground (Paul Revere, Ben Franklin's parents, etc. buried there). The quality of the hotel service was very good, from the front desk to the bellmen to the housekeepers and the turn-down service. We were not so impressed with the hotel restaurant - their 'famous' Parkerhouse rolls tasted like ordinary white rolls to us and the menu seemed limited. I would definitely try one of Boston's restaurants for a dinner out.
“Great location”
Ideal location in heart of downtown Boston. Close to city and state government offices as well as historical areas. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Only problem was too few electrical outlets in our room. It was hard to find a place to charge a phone, brew some coffee and operate a laptop. Overall, very positive experience, and if I went back to Boston, I wouldn't consider any other place.
“Phenomenal, absolutely wonderful place to stay”
Wanted the feel of a historic Boston hotel and I got it here. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Location is wonderful - convenient to T stations, Freedom Trail, several historic areas, Boston Common and Public Garden. Parker House Restaurant is great - food and service very good. May seem a little pricey but not out of line for big City hotel restaurant. Room was a little small, but clean and comfortable and I never had to ask for anything. Walls are a little thin so you do hear some noise, but not unusual in most hotels/condos where I've stayed. Has a slight "historic smell" but that only added to the ambience for me. Was delighted with my choice to stay there. Booking through Expedia allowed me to get my flight and hotel for what hotel alone would have been.
