“Close to it all.”
Great location -- walking distance to nearly everything. Very helpful staff. Beds a bit soft for my liking, but that wouldn't stop me from booking a room here next time I'm in Boston.
“Wonderful stay.”
Nice, clean hotel within few mins walk to attractions (sea aquarium, Quincy market, Faneuil hall hard rock cafe). Kids had a great time and so did we! I recommend the family fun package (4 tickets to sea aquarium or kids museum, free movie with popcorn and drinks, free backpacks, 4 tickets for free breakfast buffet the next morning) if you have kids...it was a great bargain for the price and included what we needed! :)
“Terrific Service”
The best feature of this hotel is the superb service. From the registration staff to the concierge to the doormen and bell boys, everyone we encountered was very helpful and courteous, even allowing a morning check in after a miserable red eye flight from the West Coast. The room was large, comfortable and well appointed and the hotel's location was convenient.
“very comfortable stay at the hilton”
Rooms were a little on the smaller side and my 6th floor view was the side of another building but the rooms were incredibly clean and the hotel itself was well kept. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept in which was nice after a long afternoon/night of walking around/hitting up all the pubs. Great location too..
“Totally convenient to many Boston attractions”
This hotel was in easy walking distance to some of Boston's finest attractions for children and grown-ups alike. Also, it was only a short distance to a number of different subway "T" stations. We will return for sure!
“Impressed”
I was very impressed by this hotel. Very comfortable rooms. Only down-side was there wasn't much water pressure in the toilet or the shower.
“Very nice”
Had a wonderful stay. Staff were nice and knowledgeable. Rooms were very nice and comfortable.
“Very Nice!”
Overall stay pleasant.
“A very pleasant stay. We'll be back!”
My son and I were looking for a convenient, clean and reasonably priced hotel in Boston for an extended long weekend. The Hilton Financial District did not dissappoint. Our room was adequate and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. We liked that we were able to plug our Ipods into the little radio in the room. I've read complaining about tube-style TVs... big deal. We weren't in Boston to watch TV anyways. The toilet ran when at first when it flushed but, instead of waiting for service, I lifted the lid and tightened the screw... problem solved. You're welcome, Hilton :) We stayed 3 nights and the room was cleaned everyday. The location was perfect. A 5-minute walk to State or Gvt House station depending on what line we wanted. Quincy Market is also only 3 minutes away. I can't comment about the food because we didn't eat there. I have to compliment John, the concierge though. My son and I were looking for a place to eat and catch some live music. All the places I had found wouldn't allow him in since he's only 16. John made a phone call, got us reservations at thwe Beehive (which seemed quite busy that night) and we had a fabulous dinner listening to a terrific jazz trio. We will certainly be back. The location is perfect, the staff are helpful and friendly, especially John the concierge, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. What else could you ask for.
“nice spot”
great location. very comfy bed. despite my request for a non smoking room, it was a smoking room -- complete with matches and ashtrays. but it actually was not too smelly, so I stayed. Staff was very professional and polite.
