“Location, Location, Location - and great service!”
If you want to be within walking distance of American history, then this hotel is a great choice. Comfortable rooms, enormously helpful staff, great choice. Only drawback is that you have to pay for wireless access.
“Amazing Stay”
This hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was on the third floor and was spotlessly clean. The room featured a huge bed, 40 inch TV, inroom tea & coffee, nice big bathroom (no bath, just huge walk in shower) and a small dressing room area. Previous reviewers had mentioned about noise from renovations but this I think has now been completed as we never saw any signs of building work etc and we had a very quiet room. The location of the hotel is excellent right opposite Quincy market and is about half way along the freedom trail and also near the water taxi for great views of Boston. There are a lot of restaurants/coffee shops nearby and the hotel also has its own bar and restaurant. After a long day of walking it was nice to sit in the reception area in front of the fireplace drinking a complimentary cup of warm apple cider. The hotel charges for wireless internet but I was able to receive reception to another network that didn't charge. The closest subway (T) station was Government Center and this is an easy walk to the hotel. We also used the blue line from here which is only a few stops to the airport. If we could change anything about this hotel it would be to have free inroom wireless internet (although there is a PC in the lobby area which does offer this) and slightly softer beds but apart from that we would definitely return to this wonderful hotel.
“Superb location”
Would definitely stay again as hotel right by Quincy Market and not far from waterfront. Unfortunately there was refurb work ongoing whilst we were there so reception lobby was a bit of a mess. However, the room had been refurbed and was very comfortable indeed. Would recomend this hotel totally.
“Perfect Boston Hotel”
I tried the "unpublished hotel" option for the first time ever and eneded up at the Millenium Bostonian Hotel. It was perfect. I was traveling with two people who had never been to Boston before, so to be across the street from Quincy market and a 3 minute walk to the North End could not have been any better. The hotel was modern, the people were fantastic. The only thing that was less than great was the restaurant. We went for breakfast one morning and the service was extremely slow and and when someone did help us, they were very quick to take our order or give us our food and move on very quickly. We had to ask for refills of coffee and water, and never got one for the water. with so many other options nearby, skip the restaurant in the hotel. Otherwise, definitely stay here!
“If you like convenience...”
If you like convenience to all the sights, sounds, and smells (from the North End) then you need to stay at the Millenium Bostonian! It was a beautiful hotel with a GREAT location! Be prepared to pay for wireless Internet.
“Faneuil Hall”
Upscale room with flat-screen and very comfortable bed. Can't get any closer to Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, since you're right smack in the middle of this area!
“Millenium Bostonian”
The hotel was excellent. We were there the weekend the water main broke and they let us have the bottled water in the room gratis. Two issues to be aware of. The signage wasn't clear on the floor our room was on so it took us a minute to know which was to go. The other is that there were 3 stairs in our room. Not a big deal at all for us but we didn't know that until we got to the room so it could be an accessibility issue. Overall the staff was wonderful and the neigborhood is perfect. Walk to Boston Common, Beacon Hill.
“Great location”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Millenium. It is within walking distance of alot of places that we went. Also, a short taxi ride to the airport.
“Great service”
Nice lobby area with fireplace and lots of large coffee table books to look through. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was really comfy. Showers and bathroom layout were awesome. The service and the room reminded me of a plush Las Vegas hotel.
“Best Location for Boston City Break”
A top quality Hotel in a great location opposite Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market, in the middle of the Freedom Trail. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. Hotel rooms were stylish and modern and the in-house resaurant was excellent (service, food and atmosphere) which is not always the case. Room service was good. TV Options standard. When I go back to Boston I won't be looking at anywhere else - as long as I can afford the price.
