“Perfect Leisurely Stay in Downtown Boston”
Zero doubt that this would be the place of choice for future stays in Boston. The cleanliness was everything you expect from a top end hotel and was sufficient for the needs of my wife and two small children. A little thing that many, but not all rooms in nice hotels, have was the mini refrigerator which came in handy for keeping milk on hand for the youngest. As for other hotel specific amenities, the pool area was superb (large) and our whole family found it quite refreshing after hiking the Freedom Trail through historic downtown Boston on a hot summer day. The biggest advantage, for us, was really the location and surroundings. Our purpose of the visit was to see Copley Square, Boston Commons, the Freedom Trail, Fenway, and everything that makes Boston Bah-ston. We find cars to be burdensome when travelling and love using public transportation for getting to the places we've traveled to see. We purchased a 7-day pass for each adult (one kid rides free with paying adult) for the 'T' which took us virtually right to everything we wanted to see by subway or bus (mostly subway as it is old but easy to use). The hotel being attached to the Prudential Center was huge for us on a day when it started to rain as we took the subway to the Prudential Center stop which takes you right up into the complex without having to take a step outside in the rain. Plus, there were several of the major trolley tours that depart and stop right there from the Prudential Center.
“Wonderful time in Boston!”
The Sheraton is strategically located in Boston's Back Bay for easy access to public transportation, sight-seeing, shopping, and restaurants. The staff was very helpful-if they didn't know the answer to our question, they called someone who did! Our room was very clean, had a beautiful view of the city and extremely comfortable beds. We had an evening flight and the hotel gladly kept our luggage after we checked out so we could continue to sight-see on our final day.
“Clean, Great location, very helpful employees!”
The interior of the lobby at The Sheraton in Boston was a welcomed sight after our flight and long walk around the city. The concierge was so helpful in giving directions, the "T" subway information, local attractions, as well as explaining the hotel amenities. There is a nice bar/restaurant as well as a Starbuck's located inside the hotel. Also, there are great shops, stores, and restaurants connected to the hotel as well as nicer, high-end shops a few blocks away. Our room had a wonderful view and the beds were more comfortable than my own! Pillows were slightly firm but the comfort of the bed and linens more than made up for it. One of the door tags was a "green option" and for each night the tag was hung on the door overnight, a $5 gift card was given to use for any hotel purchase. Overall, our trip to Boston was an amazing experience and The Sheraton added greatly to our time spent in the city!
“Great access to all portions of Boston”
Everything I expected from a high quality hotel, and pleasantly surprised by the on-site Starbucks coffee counter. The buffet breakfast was good. Concierge staff was knowledgeable and had helpful tips about getting around Boston. Ice machine was temporarily out of service on my floor. No matter, there was one on the floor below, a minor delay.
“Great weekend getaway.”
My son and I traveled to Boston for a summer music camp. This was our first trip to Boston. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a mini-suite with an incredible view of the river. The room was spacious and newly updated. The concierge was very helpful and all of their advice was right on, from restaurants to best ways to get around, depending on where you were going. This hotel is in a great location, everything is within walking distance.
“Boston's Best Location for Shopping, the Game and Night life”
Great Time. Stayed with Wife and kids. They shopped and I took in a game. Nice restaurants in the area for dinner and brunch.
“Convenient to everything”
This hotel is extremely convenient to shopping, tours of Boston, the back bay area, and historic Fenway Park is a 5-10 minute walk. Great hotel, very comfortable rooms.
“Easy access to everything”
We loved the fact that we could Rent a car, visit the mall and hop on a train/subway, which were all directly attached to the hotel. The sight seeing trolley was right out front and it was an easy walk to several sights.
“great location”
The staff was friendly and knowledgable. The hotel was clean and jumping, you can grab a cup of coffee later in the night!!!Restaurants all around.
“Great experience”
Well worth the $
