“Great Hotel and location”
First rate all the way! Wonderful location in the heart of Back Bay and superb accommodations.
“Best of Boston”
The excellent staff was icing on the cake for an otherwise outstanding stay. Extremely well located hotel
“Convenient Hotel with a Boutique Feel”
This was avery friendly hotel with a boutique feel. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and well furnished. A nice touch was the chocolate every night on your pillow. Very conveniently located just south of the Boston Common and close to the Back Bay area. Highly recommended.
“Location, comfort and elegance”
Wonderfully comfortable room and elegant hotel in the best possible locaton in Boston. Great bath products, great towels, gym was fine. Did not use restaurant or bar, but concierge was very helpful. Walls were a little thin but it was generally quiet during a cold January weekend in Boston.
“Still classy”
Overall, the experience was quite lovely. I still remember the old Ritz Carlton, however, so I believe I feel just a touch of nostalgia for it. Still, I love the location and the hotel. It brings back many happy memories. I'm glad the new owners have chosen to stay with the feel of the Ritz overall.
“Better than the standard fare”
Classic old school hotel where service is king. Decor is tasteful and amenities are aplenty. Seems to attract an older clientele, so don’t look for a trendy in-house café or bar (adequate only), but the hotel’s location right between Back Bay and Beacon Hill (and just 2 blocks from the Arlington green line “T” station) more than makes up for any perceived short comings here. In addition, for fitness enthusiests – the hotel’s fitness room (actually 2 adjoined) is big and well appointed, and the hotel is only 3 blocks from a pedestrian overpass leading to the trail the runs along the river. Great place to stay.
“Perfect weekend away”
Great location, walking distance to a lot of tourist attractions and shopping. Also close to the T for places farther away. Excellent customer service and guidance for touring the city. The rooms were in great shape, super comfortable, stocked with everything you might need. best of all, the place was very quiet, we never heard other people through the walls or in the hallway! I would stay at the Taj again for sure!
“Holiday in Boston”
Booked this hotel as part of a package after reading good reviews and it lived up to expectations. Location fantastic, right in the middle of all the things we wanted to do in Boston. Room was excellent, really good size for a city centre location and more importantly for me really quiet. All in all excellent hotel and at the price we paid really good value for money.
“Taj Boston”
I thought the room was great but the bathroom was a little small. You had to close the door to get to the toile paper dispenser.
“Love this hotel...went twice in ten days”
Wonderful staff, great beds, delicious food, very convenient and centrally located next to the most beautiful public gardens and on the very chic Newbury street ...I love this place and will stay there everytime I'm in Boston.
