“Enjoyed the Mountains and Easy Access to Boulder”
We stayed in the lodge, while it was hard to find in the dark being tired and unprepared (not the lodge's problem.) We loved staying there. It was clean, quiet and provided easy access to the mountains and to Boulder.

Good energy from the river, the room is clean and very affordable. A comfortable place to stay out of the city vibe. my recomendation for those on a budget and sensitive to city vibes.

We stayed in winter -- quite a bit of snow and the driveway is a bit steep if your vehicle is not great in snow. Would be an excellent place in summer or fall -- under the trees and along a creek with an outdoor pool and hot tub. Really only 5 min. from downtown Boulder. We'll go again.
“Quiet and relaxing location. Rooms were clean and welcoming”
We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience at the Mountain Lodge. Being a 1 star we were a little worried but the room was clean and welcoming and the location is great. We arrived late and this was no problem either. Quiet and pretty location made for a relaxing stay. Close enough to Pearl St. We will stay here again.

Very relaxing, felt like I was right in the mountains.
“Quiet streamside setting, but buggy”
Had lots of giant ants in bathroom. Otherwise nice setting. If you want to be close to nature, you have to expect that nature will want to be close to you.
“Quiet Motel in the Canyon”
If you want to stay at a quiet place in the main canyon above Boulder, then this is the place to go! It's not fancy, but it's a perfect distance up into the canyon while still being close to Boulder. You can hike along the Canyon Creek Walk right from the motel, and continue all the way down to Boulder if you'd like. No eating places nearby but with kitchenettes in every room and Boulder just a few minutes away, food is not a problem.
