“good place to start tour of Boulder”
We like Homewood Suites. Quality is always consistent. This location was convienent to all the sites to see in Boulder. It is next to a shopping center with a great Indian resturant. It is only about 45 minutes from Denver airport and easily accessible by 470 from airport. Short drive to famous Pearl street where we stumbled on a great Farmers Market with organic and prepared food. Boulder's location at the foothills make it a good introduction to Colorada. The entrance to the hotel was confusing even with our GPS, turn left into the shopping center and take the first left and go behind the left wing of the shopping center. They offer free bikes. Boulder is a great place to bikeride.
“Great value for the cost!”
This is a great hotel with lots of room. The two flat screen tvs, kitchen, well appointed bath, confortable bed are among some of the extras included. A full brakfast buffet was another feature that makes this hotel an outstanding good value.

“Super quiet, great breakfast”
The rooms are very very quiet, comfy beds, immaculate. Loved having a little kitchen. The breakfast was wonderful & if I'd been there on a weekday they would have served us supper. I can't say enough good things about this place. Fabulous!
“Hard-to-find location but otherwise great”
The hotel is a gem, very reasonably priced for what you get - a suite - comfortable, quiet but close to highways & downtown, with a superb breakfast. The only strange thing is that you have to go through the back of a strip mall parking lot to get to the place -- it's one of the few times mapquest/google maps has let me down. There are signs once you figure out to turn into a mall where the hotel is completely invisible, but it would be helpful if there were more and larger signs. Once we figured it out the first time it was fine - and we loved the Nepalese restaurant in the strip mall (only in Boulder!)
“Great place to stay!”
Not sure where all the negative reviews came from, but they could not have come from this hotel. Granted, it is hard to find at first, but as long as you know to turn in on The Meadows, there is a sign. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the staff are very informative, the "snacks" Mon-Thurs are more like a meal and the breakfast buffet had many choices. There were always coffee, hot chocolate and an assortment of Celestial teas available. The pool was very nice and pretty big. The location was great and although there were construction pallets and supplies around, there was never any noise that disturbed us or a lack of parking spaces. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!
“Boulder Hotel for kids, parents and grandparents - all in one room!”
Ok, so my 10 year old was bummed that it was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool, but otherwise, this place was a gem. As a mom, we enjoyed our stay with Grandma while we visited relatives nearby. Great staff, great location, windows that ACTUALLY open for AHHH...Fresh air! Decent continental breakfast in hotel lobby (stay away from the powdered eggs), safe, clean and free wi-fi. Close (walking distance) to grocery store, a few restaurants and awesome view of the mountains. Very helpful, nice staff. Will be back!
“at home in Boulder”
I usually stay closer to campus since my son is at CU but have not been impressed with the affordable offerings. Homewood Suites was only 3 miles from campus and was so convenient.
“Boulder's Best Kept Secret”
This is a great hotel to come back to everytime. Very quiet surroundings. For a price of a room, you get a nice sized apartment suite which is clean and luxurious. Very convenient location. A little hard to find the first time, but better that way for the quietness. The complementary full breakfast is great and evening social hour snack suffices for a light meal.
“Homewood Suites quite sweet!”
This hotel was very easy to find, even for Boulder-first-timers. We were pleasantly surprised by our room; large living area with kitchenette and separate bedroom. The bathroom was quite dated, but clean and functional. The evening Happy Hour (5.30 - 7.30pm) was an added bonus with complimentary beer, wine and finger food. Breakfast was also included and a wide variety was available. Located next to a mini-mall with supermarket, take-away food and variety shops, this meant that we had everything we needed on hand, even though we were quite a few miles from downtown. Pleasant stay, thank you!
