Property Amenities
The heritage-listed Rendezvous Hotel Brisbane stands in an imposing Colonial building (formerly government offices) off ANZAC Square. It has library furnished with sofas, armchairs, occasional lamps, and shelves of books that can be borrowed or swapped by guests under an honour system.
Wireless Internet access (3 hours each day complimentary or for a surcharge per 24 hours) is available throughout the lobby and library area. The lobby also has one computer terminal which provides high-speed Internet access and a printer, complimentary for all guests to use at any time.
Rooms
The Rendezvous Hotel Brisbane has 134 studios and apartments with décor in neutral colours, and reflecting a heritage/historical feel. Renaissance-style prints hang on the walls. All guestrooms have TVs with pay movies and DVD/CD entertainment systems. Complimentary wired Internet access is available in all rooms. Kitchenettes or kitchens have granite benchtops, plus sinks, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, and kettles. Minibars, irons and ironing boards, and in-room safes (which can accommodate laptops) are also included. Bathrooms, tiled in white and black, have hair dyers. Connecting/adjoining rooms are available.

Brisbane offers a broad range of sport and recreation opportunities within the city boundaries, and long riverside promenades that extend for several kilometres are ideal for walking and cycling. Within an hour's drive, there are also opportunities for skydiving, scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing, and surfing.
Rendezvous Hotel Brisbane can arrange health & beauty services, babysitters, and is only one block from the closest gym where casual passes are available.

“Brilliant location”
A brilliant location and interesting, well restored building. Air con was a bit noisy, as was the traffic (we were on level 1 right on a busy corner). Loved their "wash and fold" bag for $20 idea (unexpected so we didn't use it) and other "let's be realistic" initiatives.
“Superb!”
Great welcome on arrival with the offer of a free up-grade. A terrific, spacious apartment! Able to stay an hour longer due to late arrival of plane. Peaceful uninterrupted sleep as room very quiet despite being on a CBD street. Many thanks to the staff at the Rendezvous!
“Great location”
Great location... Central station across the road. 5 min walk to the mall. Clean. Ask for a room on the other side of the hotel as there is a backpacker on one side of the hotel...
“Nice hotel, good location.”
Very nice hotel, good location, right beside central station, near south bank! Spacious room. The only thing missing is a door man. We had to carry our bags. The noise problem is gone. They have installed sound proof windows.

I may be influenced by the free room upgrade they gave me from a studio to a one bedroom suite but I loved staying here. The staff was friendly and the location (between St John's Cathedral, the jazz clubs of Fortitude Valley and all the museums along with the restaurants and shopping) made it quite perfect for the out of of town tourist. AND it's right across the street from the train station! Only one of the elevators was working when I visited but I didn't mind. Being a small hotel, you didn't have to wait long for the working elevator.

“Excellent city-centre hotel”
Good, clean hotel (maintenance works were going on when we stayed, but they were fairly unobtrusive). Location was great, staff were helpful. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment - relatively expensive, the staff didn't seem to know the room service menu and what was or wasn't available, and breakfast was quite poor. Otherwise an excellent hotel.

I can only recommend this hotel. The rooms were great and staff made us feel welcome and helped us every time we require any service.

The hotel was right across from Central Station and a few blocks away from Queens Street Mall. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would stay again when visiting brisbane!
