“Lovely quiet location”

Nice hotel in quiet location but only 5 to 10 minutes walk from the centre. Enjoyed our stay & loved Brugges.

The Bryghia Hotel is conveniently central. The rooms though small are clean and perfectly adequate and the service friendly and helpful. Recommended for anyone wanting a short stay visit.

“Very nice hotel, in a lovely location by the canal, quiet area”

after a long time searching reviews on the expedia hotels for brugges, i decided to book this hotel. most of the reviews showed me that it was the hotel for us, we were not disapointed. we went with our son and girlfriend for his 30th birthday and i booked early in the year for a weekend in december for the christmas markets. we were on the first floor with bedrooms next to each other. i had asked for one smoking and one non smoking but it seems that you could smoke in any of the rooms. being a non smoker i thought that maybe it would mean that the room would be smelling of smoke but it was not and was fresh and very clean. we liked the old fashion look and furniture and the curtains were so thick that in the morning it kept the room dark until we wanted to get up. our room overlooked the canal and was very quiet at night. good TV english channels. bathroom had everything but hair conditioner. the coffee and tea making only had one milk each for a drink each day, so we brought some milk and put it in the drinks fridge. i had taken tea, sugar and coffee from home. there was a good safe in the room. breakfast was from 8am to 10am and lots of choose, so able to fill up to start the day. the hotel was in a great location for walking to the main square and other attractions. the room was cleaned each day that we were there.

“Good hotel”

The Bryghia Hotel is situated in a nice quiet street about two streets away from the main square. Our room was clean and comfortable and the bed was so good it is the best one we have slept in while away from home. The breakfast was of a high standard and plentiful. Our hosts even remembered what it was we drank each day. The stairs are a little narrow but then it is an old house. The lift was in good working order though.

Attractive and pleasant small family hotel within walking distance of central Bruges but still very much in the older part of town. Nice rooms, average size but well equipped. Good b/fast. very helpful and pleasant owners.

“helpful staff, great sleep, great location”

We found everything to our satisfaction. The staff (owners) were very helpful and accomodating to our requests and we wouldn't hesitate to book there again. Quiet but very convienent location.

“Lovely Hotel”

Charming small hotel more like a really great bed and breakfast. And speaking of breakfast, a great breakfast is included in the price of the room. We did have what the owner said was there largest room on the 4th floor. elevator only goes up to third floor but the one flight of stairs was no problem! The room was charming with a sloping attic roof, large, comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice views out of the windows.Room is really spacious with 2 sitting tables. A desk area under a window. Bathroom really outstanding. Very large. Great bath tub and shower. Highly recommend!

“Smart, friendly and comfortable.”

We couldn't have been made to more comfortable and welcome at the Bryghia. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Bruges. The location is peaceful but most convenient for the centre of Bruges, e.g. the chocolate museum is a couple of minutes away and it is a only a short walk. I thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a friendly and comfortable stay in Bruges and would certainly stay there again.

“Good choice”

Lovely hotel, nice rooms, breakfast was adequate. Location was good. We walked from station to hotel, took about 30 mins. All in all no complaints, very satisfied.
