“Bed but not breakfast”
The hotel itself was excellent and the staff were very helpful. My Expedia booking did not cover Breakfast. This cost 30 euros and didn't match the fare from Weatherspoons (and I don't expect coffee out of a push-button machine when I pay that much - proper filter coffe or espresso should be on offer). By all means stay at the hotel but get your breakfast elsewhere.
“Perfect hotel for business trip”
I booked this hotel for a business trip in the Gare du Nord area of Brussels. It was excellent value. The room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fine. Breakfast was excellent. I would definitely go back.
“Our weekend in Belgium”
They should have let us know we needed a credit card as deposit, had to use 150 Euro's I had just exchanged so then had to get more. It's not cheap but then again neither is Brussels. Would go back tho. Free wi fi would be nice as well. Water went cold that was only problem. Bed mega comfy can we have one ;)
“Very convenient location”
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was very close to the train, subway, bus or cab. Major sights, superb restaurants, and shopping were an easy 10 t0 20 minute walk if you chose not to use public transportation.
“Would go back”
Clean and acceptable city break hotel
“Clean, Comfortable, Workmanlike”
Hilton Brussels City is comfortable and excellently maintained. Rooms are small and bathrooms likewise (shower only), but are a good value for money, particularly if you don't intend to spend very much time in the hotel. Public spaces are modern and pleasant, and staff is professional and helpful. You are only one Metro stop from South Station, and are in walking distance of the main sights.
“Would have no hesitation whatsoever in a return stay!!”
The nicest hotel I have stayed in. Brilliant location if you were on either Business or Leisure. Metro station is outside the hotel (although the metro is probably the most confusing place in the world). Friendly and competent reception staff. Comfortable and quiet 3 nights sleep with many room provisions already provided i.e. shampoo etc. Good level of housekeeping. Very warm feeling hotel all to a contemporary design. Impressive exterior of the building. When I go back to Brussels I will look to stay at The Hilton Brussels City Hotel.
“Top hotel, good location”
Hotel was well located close to Gare Nord and a 15 minute walk into town down Rue Neuve. The rooms were quite small but given that we didn't spend much time there that didn't bother us. Furnishings were new and unblemished, bed particularly comfortable. The bar was particularly nice with a lovely bar man. Breakfast was rather expensive (cost more than a 2 course meal) but a good kick start to the day
“Impressed”
After reading some reviews about this hotel I was a little concerned of what it was like. I should have never worried. When I arrived check in was very quick and efficient. On arrival at the room it was lovely, there room was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels, flannels and shampoo and conditioner for me to use. All the staff that I saw were always polite and helpful. I would recommed this hotel to other.
“Lovely modern hotel - fantastic staff.”
This is a very smart and modern hotel in Place Rogier, about a 15 minute walk to the Grand Place. We have nothing but praise for this hotel, in particular the staff who were all friendly, approachable and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable with enough storage for our short stay. There's a small gym and sauna which are great to relax in for an hour in between sightseeing and beer tasting! There's a bit of a seedy area nearby, on the far side of Boulevard Adolph Max. We didn't have any hassle there but wouldn't like to linger when it's dark!
