“perfect location”
Perfect location, midway between the Upper town and Lower town, can walk to everything. Very quiet rooms, beautiful bathrooms. VERY nice for European city center hotel. It is the nicest hotel I've stayed in with many Expedia trips to various European cities. Train station is across a courtyard (they say across the street, but it is actually more like a pedestrian courtyard). Grocery store and cheap breakfast/sandwich places in train station.
“Perfect place to celebrate New Years .....”
Our experience with this hotel was wonderful, the location was perfect, the staff was wonderful and the rooms were beautiful, we traveled everyday to a different city and the location to the train station made it so easy , just walk out the door and across the street, I would recommend this hotel and stay again if I go back to Brussels.
“if you are going to Brussels stay here”
Great staff, great location, great rooms... this hotel is located beside the Central train station (note the Eurostar arrives one station away at the Brussels Midi but it is an easy transfer to get the underground to Central). You are then moments away from the Grand Place, market square, Tin Tin Shop, and adjacent to museums royal palace etc. Highly recommend staying here.
“Outstanding”
The staff was great, the room clean and confortable. The food in the restaurant and the bar was excellent and reasonably priced. Probably the best hotel in Bruxells both in terms of quality and location. We will certainly return on our next trip provided we can get the same deal from Expedia. If you come by train (Gare du Midi) take a cab to the hotel it is only about $12.00.
“Very nice experience”
The hotel is clean, well maintain, and in a great location. I would go back for sure and I will recommend it to friends and associates. It made my visit to Brussels that much nicer!
“Le Meridien @ Christmas”
My wife and I visited Brussels for the Christmas holidays and stayed at Le Meridien. the hotel is fantastic and the staff was attentive, helpful and friendly. Directly across the street from Central Station we had extremely easy access to the metro and were within very easy and safe walking distance from Grand Place/Grote Mrkt.
“Excellent choice for a central Brussels location”
A lovely hotel with excellent facilities. Yes the food and drink is pricey, but you can step out of the hotel and there are loads of options within easy walking distance. The service was excellent and the room had everything you could want. Very centrally located, right next door to the station so no distance at all to drag your cases - the train from the airport goes straight into the central train station. About 5 minutes walk from the Grand Place Highly recommended
“Next stay in Brussels will be at Le Meridien”
We had an excellent stay. The staff was responsive and very friendly. The concierge staff were able to attend to all of our needs. As for transportation, the Central train station was directly across the street. Perfect location.
“An American in Bruxelles”
Loved the Hotel. Great location. Freindly service. Directly across the street from the Gare, 100 meters to Grand Place. Couldn't have been more pleased with my choice.
“Great location but reidiculous Tel and Internet prices”
This is a great location: across the street from the station (not that for Paris and London, but a shuttle every 5min) and near the Grand Place, for a luxurious hotel. Room service is very good and reasonable. The major drawback is the reidiculous cost of Tel: 25 Euros (!!)/min for South America! Internnet is $35/day for a hard connection. But if you care careful with that, the hotel is a great deal in the summer

Brussels City Centre - Grand Place, Brussels, Belgium: A heart-shaped ring road defines Brussels city core, and most of its visitor attractions. Within these limits, the centre consists of two distinct halves.
