“A Nice Place To Call Home Away From Home”
This hotel offers most of the ammenities needed by anyone. It is easy to get around anywhere in Brussels, Belgium and Europe using the Public Transportation System which I did from the airport to the hotel and back. It is very Family oriented, good healthy & hearty breakfast with a feeling of being at home very evident. One gets a feeling of being able to trust the staff from the front desk to housekeeping. Everyone seems to be treated with respect and great care to make your stay enjoyable. I am Delighted that I located this hotel and will stay again as several times before.
“Ideal & cost effective if you've got business near Avenue Louise in Brussels”
I have to go to an office in Avenue Louise in Brussels several times each year and I've tried most of the hotels in that area. From now on I'll stick to the White Hotel. When you're travelling for work and just need somewhere clean, secure and comfortable, this is the ideal hotel. It's very good value for the location but still delivers everything you need. And the staff are both capable and polite, not always a given in Brussels.
“Excellent hotel in Brussels, highly recommended.”
I stay in this hotel each time I travel to Brussels. Staff is excellent, location superb, the design touch is subtle and adds a new dimension to visiting Brussels, and breakfast is really good. You can't find a better place in Brussels at this price. Avenue Louise is centrally located allowing you to stroll to the very center of the city along the very best European designer stores and cafes.
“Brussel's White House”
On the Avenue Louise, the White Hotel is not in the old centre, but is very conveniently located for some of the more interesting parts of Brussels. The hotel was good but more three star than four - the facilities one normally expects in a four star weren't all there (eg safe in room) but then, the whole place is very determinedly minimalist. Buffet breakfast was good if a little limited in range. The one thing that was a bit tedious (and this is being picky) was the slowness of the two lifts - other than that, the staff were friendly and helpful and given the convenience of its location for my meetings in Brussels, I would stay at this hotel again.
“spacious rooms”
Though the entrance suggests an icecold trendy hipster hotel, the rooms are extremely large, a bit worn out, yet comfortable.
“Very user friendly”
Very functional, great style, obviously minimalist - why not have a few colourful flowers here and there....?
“Nice idea, but not quite executed as expected.”
Hotel was under considerable maintenance on arrival. We also couldn't check in, as our rooms were not ready, based on the debris being hurled over the balcony when we arrived, we assumed it was still under construction?! The hotel bar was never opened during our one night stay, apparently due to a party the previous evening, which seemed infamous with the local cabbies. Our room was a bit worn out, with no handle on the door, in fact the decor was fairly reminiscent of student halls - the idea of an all white hotel, with a different designer for each room, is good, however, the execution is NOT! Location about 20 mins walk from the centre, but on the plus side the surrounding neighbourhood and restaurants are very nice. Ok for one night, if just a comfortable bed (& poorly secured room) is what you are after.
“Too far out”
It did have free internet access. That was nice. Breakfast is descibed as a buffet and is really a continental and a neglected one at that. Items were not replaced in a timely manner at all. The lobby is very contemporary which usually foreshadows the room. Um, no. Our room was huge (there were three of us) but a questionably stained carpet, and linens. Nice bathroom. It was ok. Not bad, not great. My main criticism was the location; it was far out from the main points of Brussels. There was a tram stop nearby, but to get most places required a couple of changes. I am usually pretty good at figuring out transportation elsewhere, but Brussels was not easy.
“Something different!”
I only stayed here for one night on a business trip. It was slightly unusual in its decor - artworks in each room and everything very "white", as you would expect from the hotel name! My room was massive (I'm sure they could have made 3 rooms out of the space they used on 1!) Still, it was clean and comfortable, and served its purpose. The buffet breakfast was decent. My only disappointment was not being able to get a hot drink of an evening; no tea-making facilities in the room or mini-bar, and all reception could offer me was a soft drink from the bar...
“Belgium”
The rooms and hotel were fine. Just would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. No iron could be located
