“Great”
There were no problems at all. Breakfast was better than other hotels of similar category. Bedding was fantastic. More than enough towels. Quiet.
“Nice new La Quinta”
The hotel is in great shape, with a nice dining area and pool. We have stayed several times when driving on I-30 and have never been disappointed.

practically brand new. SO clean and the check in agent was so polite and efficient. great indoor pool area and hot tub. Very comfortable room. Great decor and the breakfast was a step above comparably priced hotels. Indoor room access is hard to find at this price in this area...especially with a pool. Met all my criteria. Including price.

“Great Hotel.....but the management was lacking!”
We were scheduled for a late check-in (10:47 p.m.) because we were in town for a softball tournament. I'm sure the hotel was near capacity for the weekend and the parking lot was FULL. The problem stems from the fact that the hotel mgmt. allowed 4 softball teams to park their truck with trailers across 4 parking spaces each! One team was curtious enough, or a different manager asked them, to un-hook trailer in on space and park truck in another space. The only spaces available for us to park was either handicapped, or in the very back with no lighting. My husband asked for permission to park in one of the 6 available handicapped spaces so we would feel safer leaving our truck, with the back seat full of expensive ball equipment in it. The desk clerk said that would be fine because we were so late checking in and we would be leaving by 8:00 a.m. The manager or asst. manager was adament that we park in the back corner with no lights. My husband told him that was not acceptable and he could either call and have the other trucks with trailers un-hook, which would make 8 additional parking spaces available or we were parking in the front. The manager became very beligerant and almost threatening with his body language! My husband did not take that very well and asked for a refund and intended to leave, but the manager finally allowed us to park in the front where it was well lit. The check-in clerk was VERY nice and helpful and apologetic for the others behavior.
