“Excellent hotel in Palermo”
We highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is in a greatblocation, beautifully restored, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed the breakfast.
“A great place to stay for anyone.”
Whilst I feel rude for not asking for his name, the chap that runs the place was extremely polite, very friendly and more than willing to help out with the logistics of onward travel. The area is fantastic. Quiet, but with lots of excellent restaurants nearby and more lively stuff only 10 mins away.
“Great Location, Great People, A Really Nice Surprise”
I enjoyed staying at the Krista. I wanted to get to know the heart of Palermo and being based on Bonpland worked out perfectly. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and the owner is a gem! The hotel is not business oriented (no desk facilities in the room) but, for a relaxing place to stay, I have no hesitation in recommending this small and intimate home-from-home to anyone wanting to visit the Palermo district.
“Really Lovely Hotel in Convenient Location!”
We stayed in this hotel twice, first for one night on a stopover in Buenos Aires. We were so impressed that we booked 4 nights when we returned to Buenos Aires. It is a small hotel, only ten rooms or so, and we liked the personal touch and welcoming atmosphere that this offered. (If you are used to the standard chain hotels it might not be right style for you). The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, and very clean. Things we particularly liked: - Staff were very helpful, happy to book taxis, make calls, store luggage etc. - Comfy beds! - Good wifi signal in rooms, and an iMac in the hotel foyer if you didn't have a laptop. - Good, tasty, buffet breakfast, which could be brought to your room free of charge if you wanted. - Nice area of the city, with lots of good restaurants and bars just around the corner. N.B. the hotel is not in the center, but the bus stop to the city is literally just outside the door, and the subte is a short walk away. Things that could be improved: - First time we stayed in a superior room (as they kindly upgraded us!) Second time we stayed in a standard room, and the bathroom was not quite as nice - chip on the sink, and the shower pressure was disappointing. - No fridge in the rooms. This might be inconvenient if you were staying in summer. - Centrally controlled heating, so we had to find a balance using the controllable AC in the room. We felt really very lucky to have found this hotel and would definitely return.
“A charming boutique hotel”
The Krista Hotel is enchanting. It is a beautiful old building with lots of stained glass downstairs in the entry area and very charming staff. It is surrounded by restaurants and cafes and there is a bus outside the front door. Despite that, our room at the top of the building was very quiet and we slept very soundly in our comfortable kingsize bed. The breakfast was lovely and beautifully laid out on the antique sideboard. A highlight was the fresh fruit salad every morning. Unfortunately we didn't have time to enjoy the jacuzzi in the rear courtyard but maybe we will next time.
“Must be one of Buenos Aires' best kept secrets”
This is a wonderful gem of a hotel in Palermo Hollywood, an oasis of calm and tranquility where the attention to detail is obvious throughout. The staff are extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable, the beds are huge with high quality mattresses and the linen soft and crisp. Beds are turned down in the evening and a chocolate left on your pillow. Bathrooms are contemporary and spacious with walk-in showers, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The common areas are cool and relaxing and there is even an outside garden bedecked with jasmine in which to relax or do some sunbathing. Free WiFi is available throughout. Freshly squeezed orange juice is served at breakfast. Shops, restaurants and bars are right outside the front door and Palermo Hollywood is just as nice but quieter than Palermo Soho.... I could go on but why am I sharing this secret with you all? It will be harder to get a reservation next time!!
“Great hotel in the heart if Palermo”
The hotel is within walking distance of many great restaurants and good shopping down on Serrano and Armenia Avenues. It is also convenient to San Telmo and Downtown. The building itself was once the home of a doctor and is architecturally appealing. It is a small hotel with some courtyards within to sit and relax. The staff was helpful and friendly, as well.
“Boutiquee”
good service, secure and safe and in a vibrant evening neighborhood. Staff was cordial and willing to serve a decent breakfast before and after posted hours. Floors and beds were clean, they could dust and vacuum the light fixtures to improve the appearances.
“Great Hotel in great neighbourhood”
Great location if you are a couple and go out at night! Great staff.
