Storefjell Resort Hotel is located on the slopes of Golsfjellet, 1,001 metres above sea level. The hotel has a fantastic location on the sunny side of Golsfjellet, surrounded by incredible mountain terrain that is equally inviting in summer and winter. There is skiing for all abilities, while the water, wide open spaces and mountains make it an ideal place for hiking, riding and fishing. Storefjell is a great base for day trips by car to the fjords of Western Norway, Hardangervidda and Jotunheimen. Storefjell offers mountain life at its very best.

“excellent place to stay”

This hotel is a very good place to stay the rooms are fantastic and very spacious. It is a good place to go if you like hill walking. On the down side it is in the middle of no where and although it must be a great place in the winter for skiing in the summer there aren't many things to keep you occupied.
