“best tropical holiday destination”
brilliant location, helpful staff, couldn't recommend it highly enough, hope to return soon. Travelled with my eighty year old father and my 17 year daughter, both of whom thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Was better than our trip to Fiji earlier in the year.
“Fab family appartment”
We had a two bedroom appartment at the coral horizon. The room was very well equiped with a dishwasher, washing maching, clothes dryer such that you could have lived there, bought groceries and cooked. The pool was a little disappointing, but the the beach was across the road and was beautiful. the staff were very helpful and we booked a boat trip through them which was excellent. The internet was only available from our balcony - which was very large and pleasant, so did minimise children's face book access. Surrounding restaurants are very pricey for what you get, pub food at $30 a plate. Overall an excellent hotel with many near by attractions.
“Moved out after one day”
Room was not as shown on the Net - pictures show only the best rooms a few floors up. Beware of being offered Room 601. This was a cave at ground level with the view of ocean restricted by cars parked in front, narrow windows and security mesh. The only room in the living area facing directly to the ocean has a sideboard and TV placed in front of it. No beach was visible and there was no balconey to sit and relax upon. Operaters were very helpful and did offer to move us to a different complex. This was a more comfortable and modern facility but we did not have a view of the coast which is what we were looking for when we selected Palm Cove.
