“Good Value...Nice Hotel”
Nice, clean, comfortable hotel minutes from the pyramids. Reasonably priced with friendly, attentive staff and manicured grounds. Good restaurants within and a complimentary shuttle into Cairo several times a day. Would stay again.
“Oasis Hotel”
Very clean, tidy hotel, well kept grounds. Close proximity to the Pyramids & other attractions, set back, but isolated due to the very busy road. Remember to pack enough sun block, toiletries, batteries, cheap camera's etc 'cos there's no useful shop close by or in the hotel. Overall friendly & helpful staff.
“Wonderfull garden in the heart of dusty area!”
Atmosphere and cleanness of the hotel, the rooms are lovely specially these close to the pool, there quite a lot of interesting planets that are very well maintained, big thump for the gardeners, also the WiFi was very good speed with a very reasonable price. The food was very tasty. The staff was very friendly and polite. All was one of the best experiences we had during last 3 years or traveling.
“Definitely go back”
The hotel had a very friendly atmosphere and the staff very helpful at all times. Pool area well laid out and comfortable. Good selection in buffet. Garden very peaceful and beatifully laid out and maintained. Definitly recomended.
“Beautiful Grounds just outside of Cairo”
Hotel grounds are an oasis and the rooms are comfortable but rooms could do with some updating, Hotel amenities and restuarants are v ery good, free breakfast is very good, overall very good service.
“Loved Cairo”
We enjoyed our visit to the Oasis Hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms and grounds are very clean. The hotel drivers are very helpful and good value and the free minibus into town very useful. The hotel is close to the pyramids but you would not want to walk it - a busy road (not noisy in the hotel) and limited pavements. Quisine good but somewhat limited though not expensive.
“Great place to stay, see Cairo and relax”
We had a great stay. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs. Rooms were a good size and very clean and comfortable. The pool was great as was the food which was reasonably priced and offered a great variety. Great hotel for children. Had a great play area for them. Close to the Pyramids. Very relaxing and safe, you didn't feel that you were in busy Cairo. The hotel has driver's that can take you were you want to go for a reasonable price. Highly recommend it to families and couples who want to be close to the attractions but away from the chaos of Cairo.
“Truly an Oasis in the desert”
I really enjoyed the feel of this hotel - you step out of your hotel room door onto a lovely garden instead of an elevator. The rooms are all ground level. No bugs of any kind. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Close, but not walking distance to the pyramids. Doesn't matter, you have to take a cab everywhere you go anyway since you can't cross the street on foot. It has everything you need at a very good price. The breakfast buffet (included in price) was one of the better ones I found. Don't expect bathrobes or minibars - they don't exist here even though advertised on some websites. But you can easily buy drinks at the bar and take them back to your room or have room service. I felt safe and secure here - as a woman travelling alone, that was a priority. Lots of privacy, yet lots of great people from all over - I never felt alone unless I wanted it that way.
“Wonderful experience”
It was me and my boyfriends first time in Egypt and we are glad that we chose this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. The staff provided remarkable service. I would recommend this hotel to any one that is looking to have a great time in egypt.
“Hotel was ok, but a little far from the action.”
This hotel is close to the pyramids, but with the busy traffic it takes a very long time to get to the centre of Cairo. It was really hard to go out & experience the nightlife because of this. The hotel is very accomodating in providing guests with reasonable rates for cars to tour you around in, but BEWARE: the drivers get a commission of what you buy wherever they take you. They will always suggest places to eat & shop that are owned by their friends, so you won't actually get that great of a deal in the end. Unless you ask to go to specific places you search out yourself, you will be taken to a friend's shop/restaurant. The food at the hotel is mediocre & very expensive. The breakfast buffet (included in our stay) was fantastic, but the dinner buffet was overpriced & not that great. Food off the room service menu is fantastic. The pool is beautiful & the grounds are well kept. It's great that the rooms are so far back from the main road. You don't hear traffic at all! Staff is so friendly & wonderful.
