“Great place, close to the Calgary Zoo”
Clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful.
“Love this hotel!”
I was very impressed with the service, the condition and quality of the hotel. I got a great deal and they didn't treat me any different because I didn't pay the regular rate. They were great with my children too. I will definatley stay here again
“Excellent downtown Calgary hotel”
We had a great stay at the Delta Bow Valley. The front desk staff, the guest services attendants and the cleaning staff were all very courteous and very accomodating. It was our first trip to Calgary so we were pleased to be upgraded from a room on the 8th floor to the 22nd so that we could have a view of the Rocky Mtns and the skyline of Calgary. Although we didn't eat here, there is a nice lounge and restaurant. The hotel is close to tons of shopping and restaurants and a short walk to the Transit station. Taxis are available on site, a nice convenience for early morning airport rides. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel!!
“Just a great hotel!”
Only complaint - thought the food in the hotel restaurant very pricey!
“Great location”
Great location for all business contacts downtown
“very satisfied”
I arrived at the hotel in the midst of Stampede time, which at any time can be quite chaotic. I found the staff to be very helpful with the check in process, and even gave me an upgrade. I booked this room with Expedia, not even realizing that it was during Stampede, and didn't have any difficulty booking a room. I would not hesitate to use Expedia, or to stay at Delta Bow Valley in the future.
“A Wonderful Hotel!”
This was a fantastic hotel! The room was great, although we had to pay for internet - I think it was about $13 for the day. The workout room was very nice - not busy, which I always like. And the rooms were really soundproof. There were some hockey teams in the hotel the nights we were there and we didn't hear a thing! Really liked the service too - the employees are very well-trained and accommodating. I would stay at this hotel again in a second!
“Nice Hotel and freindly staffs”
I booked both the hotel and flight through Expedia and saved a lot on hotel reservation.Great location. The room was clean. The hotel's staffs were helpful. I will recommend it.
“Delta Bow Valley: A Sound Choice”
From what I experienced over two days, this hotel is kept up reasonably however, I did not explore any areas other than lobby, reception, elevators, 15th floor & room. The restaurant seemed busy. The staff were friendly and professional. They were able to answer all my questions, and helpful with freezer storage, airport shuttle and other small things. On the edge of Chinatown, the hotel is easily accessible by car, walking and public transit. Hotel parking rates were $11. I was disappointed with the state of Chinatown--Friday evening walk produced no viable light meal choices other than a Vietnamese sub place. Lame & not what i remember from previous years. If you have kids, take the time to stock up on water, milk & snacks & whatever you might need. Aside from basic hotel vending choices, there are no nearby convenience stores. My suite was large and clean with a great view. The fridge was a nice bonus to store my disappointing take out supper. A variety of pay-per TV entertainment is available. Movie rentals ranged from a pricey $10.99-14.99. Sat. Radio stations & music lists could be accessed as well for around $6.99. Nintendo runs around $6.99/hour. Several other amenities are found and in line with industry standards. Elevator conversation with others spoke well about the pool and fitness area. This hotel was a very pleasant stay & would definitely go back again.
“Classy lobby, comfortable room, good downtown location”
The hotel lobby looks great, the lounge area is very classy with a cool fireplace. The rooms were clean and the bedding was comfortable. The air conditioning worked great and smelled nice. The staff was very courteous when we parked our rental car and moved it for us. The location is convenient. Overall, a positive experience.
