“will come again”
The Hotel was fantastic value for money. I would expect to pay twice as much. We expected a room for 4 but got an appartment. local restaurant s can be expensive but Hey buy some steaks at the local supermarket and cook yourself for a quarter of the price...
“Brilliant location”
The hotel is nice but the best thing by far was the location. The hotel is situated just off the main square with only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the main street with shops, cafes and restaurants. Inside the hotel was very quiet. The town and surrounding area is beautiful.
“Disappointed”
We were 4 adults and were disappointed in the size of the room and upkeep of the hotel. Staff was indifferent; but breakfast was decent: Would try to find someplace else next time.
“Wonderful location if you can get in!”
Apart from the arrival fiasco the hotel is in a great location. Rooms very tired, and less than 3 star quality. Broken tiles, and very little sign of cleaning. It is important to note this is the Casino side, as I understand the other location rates better. Coffee maker so dirty that we could not use, but other plates and cutlery OK. Had a dishwasher which was a surprise. Hotel was not manned at any time outside about 8:00 to 17:00, but we did not need any additional assistance. Basic hotel near 2* level, but due to location can claim better. Would not stay again in the Casion side, but would consider the other location simply as Cabourg is so nice.
“OK - Hotel and apartments”
The hotel was seperate from our accomodation, which was a fifteen minute walk up the road. Arrived at 4.30pm to find rooms full of dirty linen which was cleaned up after we spoke to someone. Not allowed breakfast in the hotel as we were put in another building. Breakfast could be pre-ordered but you would have to walk to the main hotel to collect it. Told at hotel where we picked up key we had an allocated space in the car park (electric gates) but no room for us so we were told to park down the road. Hotel reception closed from 6.00pm - 10.00am which is inconvenient if you arrive late or want to leave early as we did!
