“weekend visit”
We were very happy with the service and the condition of the room,it suited our purposes perfectly for visiting family in Sydney

“Rydges is a great location”
The hotel is conveniently located close to Sydney Harbor & Dahling Harbor. You are only a 10 minute bus ride from the city and out of the hustle and bustle when it is time to relax. Even though it is near the University, it is in a quiet neighborhood.
“Adequate in Camperdown”
Overall fitted the bill for a weekend to attend the NRL final. Central to airport, city and Western Suburbs. Walk to King St eateries and short taxi ride to Norton St (Italian food). Room comfortable but in average condition - shower very poor.
“Excellent stay”
I had an excellent stay over 2 nights with this hotel and would definitely stay again and recommend to others. My room was a good size, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable actually! I was having tests done at the Royal Prince Alfred hospital and the hotel was both convenient and comfortable to go back to between morning and afternoon tests. The closet had plenty of storage space, there were tea and coffee making facilities, ironing board and iron, safe, a large tv. Staff were polite and helpful, I experienced no issues at all with my stay and enjoyed the 11am checkout also.

Fridge stank and the electric jug wouldn't turn off. Paint peeling off the bottom of the bathroom door. Window latches rusty. Television had bad reception.

Its an old Hotel and it shows. The bathroom was a major let down, no water pressure and a shower head that kept falling off when you went to adjust the head so that it didnt feel like you were being pelted in the head by hail. Room was ok size wise and kept clean, air con temp was in fahrenheit not celcius so hard to set the temp correctly. Service of the staff was great. Location to Sydney CBD was good with bus running right into town. Short stay only otherwise the place would drive you nuts with it faults.

very old & not upto Ryddges hotel standards . Needs renovation all facilities very old & dirty
