“Beautiful hotel.”
We stayed in the oceanfront JW suite and absolutely loved the spaciousness and, of course, the incredible view from 2 balconies. The beds were very comfortable and the pools were beautiful. Plenty of chairs poolside and at the beach. The staff was top notch and courteous. Definitely would return in a heartbeat!
“A fabulous cancun vacation at an incredible hotel”
Have stayed in many Marriott hotels and the service at this particular hotel was superb; everyone from porters to waiters desk clerks etc were all very friendly and helpful; restaurants were outstanding in the hotels and service fabulous; highly recommend
“JW Marriott Feb 2012”
The staff were very friendly and would do whatever was humanly possible to meet and exceed one's needs and desires. I have been all over the world, my experience was one of the best!
“Amazing experience”
Everything was exactly what I expected and more. Beautiful view of ocean from room, clean hotel, nicely landscaped and clean pool area. Will definitely return!
“Trip of a life time experience!”
Hotel is fantastic for families, business travelers, and couples. Its a dream come true. They really take care of you extremely well. Swimming pools for every age (baby to toddlers). Beach front hotel. Convenience store inside hotel. Just like to point out we would have liked some tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Room service is great but sometime you want you coffee when you want it not 30 or 40 minutes later!!
“The best hotel”
I absolutely love this hotel. Great customer service! Great clean rooms!
“Great stay!”
Just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay at the JW Marriott in Cancun. What a gorgeous property located on a beautiful stretch of beach in the Hotel Zone. Our room was perfect (suite with an ocean view) - very spacious and extremely comfortable. Every amenity imaginable was provided (minus one tiny detail...an in-room kettle). The housekeeping was impeccable - never a spot in sight. Breakfast was provided with our booking and the buffet in the Sedona Grill was outstanding. The food selection as well as the quality was excellent. Would have to say it's one of the best breakfast buffets ever. The hotel staff also deserve top marks. Always cheerful and eager to please. All in all a great stay at a magnificent resort!
“Excellent experience”
Everything in the hotel is excellent.
“Great Hotel if you are not concerned about costs”
This hotel is great. But it definitely comes at a price since you are paying not just for the hotel but for service (10% automatic on everything), food (all restuarants are high class and very expensive), drinks ($10 per drink at the pool), and you are also not near any of the businesses (except for Aquaworld which is walking distance) so you need to get a cab to go anywhere. But if you keep this in mind then you will definitely love the hotel, the rooms, the pool, and everything else that comes with a 5 diamond hotel.
“Looking forward to go back, highly recommended!!!”
We decided to take a low stress late honeymoon/pre-child getaway in the Carribean. We did not sign up for any activites, just wanted to relax and enjoy the comfort. There are plenty of things to do in the resort if you stay for about a week and don't want to rush. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the room was extremly clean and comfortable. We had an ocean view room and usually opened the patio door at 4am just to enjoy the sound of the sea while sleeping. It is really calming. We often watched the sunrise with a cup of coffee from the beach. However, I definately recommend having breakfast in your room at least once. During the day we had some snacks and usually we had dinner while watching the sunset. The Seafood restaurant is the best. Pricewise it is not more expensive than a high-mid class restaurant in CT. They have a little coffee shop for tasty sandwiches and drinks. We ate really well and spent less then we thought. We usually paid with cash, but you can put everyting on your room and pay when you check out. Here you don't need one dollar bills to get what you want, but I'm sure they appreciate the tips. Their staff is very friendly and highly trained. Also if you enjoy massages, don't miss their spa. I had a maternity massage and it felt just great! Overall we had a great time and looking forward going back.
