Set on the east side of the island, in Cancún's Hotel Zone, Oasis Cancún All Inclusive shares 13 hectares (32 acres) of grounds with its companion property, Grand Oasis Cancún. Nichupté Lagoon is across the road.
The size and landscaping of the combined properties make walks popular. Terracotta pots of colorful bougainvillea and flowering plants, shrubs, and trees including narcissus, tulipanes, and banana palms, add a lush feel to the grounds.
Additional amenities include rounds at a nine-hole golf course where greens fees are complimentary for guests, lighted tennis courts, and evening entertainment. Several computers are available with high-speed Internet access (surcharge) and wireless Internet access is available in the lobby areas (surcharge).
Live acts from well-known acts such as Pitbull, Kool and the Gang, Gloria Gaynor, along with daily shows by a troupe of 60 performance artists including clowns, mimes, and jugglers provide entertainment night and day. Instructor-led activities include pool games, water aerobics, and dance and cooking classes.

Oasis Cancún All-Inclusive resort offers 959 guestrooms in a six-story building styled after a Mayan pyramid. Rooms feature ground-floor patios or upper-floor balconies furnished with two chairs. Views include expansive grounds and gardens, the Caribbean Sea, or Nichupté Lagoon between Cancún Island and the mainland. Newly refurbished rooms feature earth-toned walls and Mexican touches throughout, offering minimalistic furnishings and updated bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.

No reservations are required; dress code is casual but hotel policy bans bare feet and the wearing of wet clothes at all eating venues except snack bars. A mariachi trio plays Mexican music and strolls from restaurant to restaurant each evening.
Tunkul and Tatish - Air-conditioned buffet restaurant serving international buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Includes Tatish Deli which is open for snacks and deli items.
Sarape - Casual open-air spot under thatched-roof palapa with rustic bamboo furniture and Tex-Mex a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Live Mexican music.
Steakhouse Tunkul - Open for dinner. Serving traditional steak house cuisine with a Caribbean flair.
Trattoria Tatish - Pizzas, pastas, and traditional Italian dishes for à la carte lunch and dinner.
Dos Lunas – White-linen service in open-air thatched roof palapa with colorful Mexican decor. À la carte service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Mediterranean cuisine.
Sushi Bar Akeru - Asian flavors in a Caribbean atmosphere, with sushi and sashimi. Open from noon until late afternoon.
Las Hamacas Snack Bar and Sands Snack Bar - Both serve snacks on the beach.
Asian Lounge Tunkul - Relaxing lounge with an Asian flair open for lunch and dinner.
Sports Bar Tatish - Variety of snacks available throughout the afternoon and all night long.
Café Bar Tunkul - Variety of snacks.
The resort features a variety of bars, including three swim-up bars; and a cocktail bar off each lobby, Barlovento and Scirocco.
Recreation

Guests can enjoy a meandering freeform pool, crossed by three bridges and large enough to host three swim-up bars. Guests can also take advantage of complimentary use of kayaks and paddle boats. Two lighted tennis courts and a nine-hole executive golf course are available. Golf green fees are complimentary but rental of golf equipment incurs surcharges.
One block away at Nichupté Lagoon, AquaWorld, offers a variety of water sports and excursions.

“Perfect place to stay.... only relax and enjoy”

“Oasis Cancun Hotel”
Great hotel. Beautiful scenery, ocean view and numerous connecting clear pools. Indoor/outdoor restaurant are superb. Very friendly staff. Can't wait to return! Would highly recommend!!

I took the cheap route and booked Cancun Oasis vs. the Grand Oasis saving us $260. Upon check in we were told that because we booked through Expedia they were upgrading us from Cancun Oasis to the Grand Oasis. The room was very nice. Going into the week we knew we had access to all the amenities of the Grand so figured we'd take a chance. Talked to some people that had issues with their room at Cancun Oasis like a/c not working or the mini fridge not working. But a nice breeze every night seems like it would provide natual cooling. We shut our air off at the Grand. Also heard that we just missed all the spring breakers. My advice would be to avoid those weeks from the sounds of it. We were there 4/9 - 4/16. Food was great, make sure go to the a la carte resturaunts on site in addition to the buffet. Drinks of course were not loaded with alcohol so you'll want to ask for extra if that's your goal. Pools were fantastic. Seems like certain crowds were in different secions of the pool. So plenty of options to find a spot to your liking. We met a couple that were staying in the Cancun Oasis and they had no complaints about the room. In fact they want us to go same time next year. We are going back and staying at this resort!!!!
“Gorgeous Resort”
The resort grounds were amazing. Peacocks everywhere. The staff was friendly, and the food was awesome. I recommend dining at the mexican restaurant (casual). My favorite one of the restaurants on the property. The mariachi band was so entertaining and really played a big role in the dining experience. The rooms were decent, no complaints. The only thing I had a problem with was the guy from the transportation company Best Day. Best day picked us up from the airport and we had to meet with the Best Day guy on the property when we checked in to receive our vouchers to return back to the airport. In the time we waited til he came we purchased a day trip to Chichinitza from one of the huts on the property. When we met with him he asked who we bought it from, then proceeded to tell us it was a fake. We were discouraged, but went to speak with the gentleman who sold us the trip. He actually came up to the hotel at 7am to wait with us until the bus arrived, to help us feel like we werent being cheated. I think it was very unprofessional of Best Day to do that since we didnt purchase from them. Our vacation was AMAZING and I would definately recommend this hotel to EVERYONE!
“Best Trip Ever”
The room was beautiful. The staff members were all really friendly and helpful. The restaurants and bars were great and easily accessible. Beach access was so close. There was always something to do. Especially great for young travellers; a lot of fun! I would recommend this resort to everyone I know.

I loved this hotel! The people were all very friendly and hospitable. We were upgraded to an ocean view room automatically. We had no problems. I'm so in love with Cancun and in large part because of the stay at the Grand Oasis. The food was also top knotch!
