“A gem among many good motels in one of the busiest sections of Route 28”
This is not the most modern or attractive motel in the area, but we found it to be exceptionally clean, neatly maintained, and the rates very reasonable It has all of the amenities, a nice playground and picnic area and is very convenient to Hyannis and the central cape. The breakfast restaurant is also tops on our rating scale.
“Just Fine”
We stayed three nights. Although this is an older wood-framed facility it is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The office staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. My greeting upon arrival was "we have been expecting you". We were given good guidance for local restaurants. We would happily stay here again.
“Great heated swimming Pool and Jacuzzi, Great breakfast”
Great deal!
“Great Place To Stay”
Happy with everything room was great indoor pool and hot tube clean and excellent happy with everything would stay there again
“Nice place to return to”
A quiet time away in a pleasant Inn during off-season....Everyone was very helpful....The room was as described....The refrigerator was helpful....The room was very clean, and the bed comfortable....Would definitely return....
“Can't wait to go back.”
We had a late check-in and from the moment we arrived the front desk staff was very helpful and very friendly throughout our stay. We have no complaints and will more than likely return.
“Just what we needed!”
The Tidewater Inn is very conveniently located for easy access to many areas of interest in the Mid-Cape. It is on busy Rt 28, but the Inn occupies several acreas so you can enjoy peace and quiet once on the property. There are indoor and ourdoor pools, a hot tub, lawns with picnic tables and chairs, swing sets and a peaceful outlook over a pond. The 50's style onsite diner is open from 7 AM and you get a delightful menu and good breakfast from friendly staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable but some might want more updated bathroom fixtures. The walls are thin and we were fortunate to have quiet neighbors- but you can hear the TV and voices in the next room. Wi-fi is weak- I would lose signal frequently. Even the lobby computer did not work well. Charlie was the nicest front desk manager and available to make our stay pleasant. We would stay there again. Good value for the money.
“Great little place”
My fiancee and I went down to the Cape for the weekend, and found this place for an extremely low rate. We decided to book and hope for the best. It exceeded our expectations. The man at the desk (I forget his name) was so nice and accomidating. The rooms were nice and the view from the balcony overlooking the marshland was amazing. The indoor pool was kept at a great temperature and the hot tub was well maintained and clean. The best part was that it was central to EVERYTHING. I expect that during the summer, it gets very busy, but we went the last weekend in May, and it was a nice quiet place to stay. Will definately be going back again next year.
“Can't Go Wrong”
For the price I got this hotel at through Expedia, it was a fantastic stay. The location was great, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the pools (along with the jacuzzi) were top notch. There was a computer available to use in the lobby with internet access....nice to check my e-mails and keep up with fantasy baseball. The 50's diner looked great, menu reasonable, we just decided to eat out in the A.M. Lots of land to play on if you have young kids. I'd definitely stay here again.
“Great time”
Stayed Valentines weekend and had a great time, though some thought the pool was a little cool we thought it was fine and the hot jacuzzi was right there to warm up if needed.Very quite area,at the time, although the 2nd night a group of about 8 college kids checked in and it got a little loud and lots of coming and going but it didnt get out of control, glad we were on the 2nd floor though.Overall a very good experience and great value for the budget minded and I would recommend the hotel.Diner was also ok.
