“Ideal accommodation in Cape Town”
Extremely superb accommodations which was spacious and modern.excellent service and the location was ideal for walking around the waterfront as well as being able to walk to the downtown. We always felt safe. we would love to return to this villa again.
“Beautiful apartments with a stunning location, view and amenities.”
The Waterfront Village was absolutely brilliant when we stayed there recently. It wasn't the cheapest accomodation, but well worth it if you can afford it. The apartments were huge and I think they all have balconies overlooking either the Waterfront or the mountain. The kitchens are very well equipped meaning you can save yourself some money by cooking proper meals in rather than going out everynight. On a map the complex looks a bit of a walk from the V & A, but in reality is right next to it so very convenient. The security is also very secure and you feel very safe there, which wasn't the case in some parts of Cape Town we visited. Overall, would highly recommend it.
“When can we go back?”
This extensive aparthotel is situated within a secure compound in the V&A complex. It is spread throughout multiple apartment blocks around the canal and marina shared with resident owners. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with small patio/garden even though we had only booked a single bedroom. The accommodation was extensive, clean and well maintained with fully equipped kitchen including washing machine and dryer. Satellite TV and in-room wi-fi (for very reasonable additional cost though free internet & wi-fi is available during opening hours in reception) also available. The room was serviced daily by friendly and efficient staff who would come back later if it wasn't convenient. Reception staff were more than helpful arranging taxis and trips very efficiently. Our mid-morning arrival, after an overnight flight, was handled very well. Unfortunately our apartment wasn't available until the booked check-in time but this was no problem as there is plenty to do on the nearby V&A Waterfront. Our bags were taken to our apartment and were waiting for us when we were shown our accommodation. Security in the complex and the V&A in general is high and high profile but this isn't intrusive once you quickly get used to it. There are open air pools and a gym (additional cost) but we didn't use them. This accommodation is suited to families as well as seasoned travellers.
“Exceptional Capetown value”
WE were in Capetown at the end of a 6 week holiday throughout Africa and had experienced a range of accommodation during that time. As we had a few days to spend, we chose a self catering apartment option and our choice of the V&A Apartments was a absolute gem. Apart from its great location in the V&A Waterfront area, the apartment complex and the unit itself were fantastic. New, spacious, 5 star standard with every appliance you could want..it even had a pasta maker!!! The staff at reception were always helpful and made any transport/tourist arrangement we requested smoothly. In total, our stay one of the highlights of our Africa trip. While there are undoubtedly other accommodation options nearby, we feel the V&A Apartments would be very hard to beat.

“Highly Satisfied”
We made the perfect choice when selecting the Waterfront Village. The 2 bedroom apartment was extremely spacious, modern and clean. The apartment had every single thing in it we needed and more. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. The staff was very professional and accommodating to our every need. The Waterfront also has extremely tight security and we felt 100% safe at all times. I could go on about how great this place is but bottom line is I highly recommend this place!
“Wish I was there right now”
This place is amazing! It is the same price as a small hotel room (granted I was there in winter - July) but you get 2 bedrooms (even though I only paid for 1), a washer and dryer, living room, office space, full kitchen, balcony, and it's all brand new and total luxury! The staff and cleaning ladies are all very nice. Your room is cleaned every day and they even do the dishes. You also get access to the swimming pools and other facilities. The annoying thing was that each guest has to have an access card to get onto the premises which took the security people a long time to activate and then one of the cards didn't even work. Overall, I wish I was still at the Waterfront Village and one day would like to live here. Cape Town is awesome and this is definitely the place to stay!
“Cape Town Fabulous Hotel; Exceptional Staff”
Other than some electrical issues in this particular suite (it would be nice if the mirrors were more closely co-located to overhead lighting and electrical outlets for hairdryers, curling irons, etc.) this place was just about perfect. The setting and location were stunning and the apartment was beautiful, immaculate, comfortable and large. The amenities were excellent and the staff went way “above and beyond” in accommodating us. They lent us their Boardroom for a conference call, made recommendations and arrangements for touring and sight-seeing, and provided us with everything we asked for. But the most exceptional thing the staff did occurred when we accidentally left a piece of luggage at the apartment when we were flying home. We did not realize it was missing until we arrived at check-in at the airport. We called them, they went to the apartment, found the bag, called the driver who had taken us to the airport, arranged for him to pick it up and deliver it to us at the airport. The bag arrived in time for our flight and we departed as if a potential major catastrophe never even happened. We cannot praise this place and their staff enough.
“Excellent Location”
The Waterfront Village is a large complex and is ideally located close to the V&A Waterfront. We stayed three nights and found the appartment to be well equipped and spacious. We would strongly recommend this as an option for families with teenage children.
“Security & comfort”
We were given a 2 bedroom condo unit overlooking a small marina in walking distance of the V&A Waterfront. About as good a location as you can get for the money. For two people, the balcony, the extra bath and the art was as much as ou could expect for one of the most reasonable rates in a very expensive area.
