Hotel San Michele

"We had a fantastic stay in Ravello and would absolutely recommend this property. The views were breathtaking, overlooking the Amalfi Coast and exceeding our expectations. The pool was a highlight of the stay—stunning, peaceful, and offering incredible panoramic views of the coastline and surrounding area. The location was excellent as well. It was within walking distance of restaurants, shops, and transportation, making it easy to explore Ravello. While the beach is not directly accessible on foot and requires a ride down the coast, getting there is simple and well worth it. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. We also appreciated the property’s layout. Although other guests stay in separate units, everything feels private and allows you to enjoy your own space without feeling crowded. The only downside was the WiFi. The listing advertises WiFi, but in our experience it only worked reliably near the pool area. Inside the room, the connection was essentially unusable. If you need internet access for work, video calls, or consistent browsing, this could be frustrating. Overall, this was a wonderful stay with beautiful views, a great location, and a relaxing atmosphere. Despite the WiFi issue, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again."

"We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite during our visit to Capri. The suite was spacious, and the view from the master bedroom balcony was beautiful in the distance. However, there was construction activity nearby, which affected both the overall view and the sense of privacy. Unfortunately, we experienced a safety issue with the master bathroom door. The lock malfunctioned and trapped me inside the bathroom for 3-4 times. Thankfully my family members were in the room and were able to open the door from the outside. This is something the hotel should address as soon as possible. Both bedrooms felt quite dated, especially the bathrooms, which could benefit from renovation and modernization. Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was limited and heavily focused on sweet pastries and desserts, with very few savory options. We did not find the breakfast particularly enjoyable. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful. They assisted us with our luggage transportation arrangements, which made our arrival and departure much easier. Overall, while the staff provided good service, we felt the hotel did not offer good value for the price paid, especially considering the condition of the rooms and the breakfast quality."

"This is one of the most incredible places we have stayed. Every detail was perfect. Upon arrival, Miss Rosa welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know she was so very sweet. Every single staff member was very kind and spoke fluent English. The free breakfast exceeded my expectations with fresh fruit And lots of meat options from our terrorist. The views were breathtaking. We love the garden and especially the sweet kitty on the property Gesselina. I plan to return and I am still missing the relaxing evening in the hot tub in their gardens. It was very easy to walk into town and catch a bus. It only took around six minutes or so I would recommend anyone who is looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle. It’s very quiet and a gorgeous property."

"Caesar Augustus has the most amazing views in the island of Capri. After spending two weeks in Italy I would have to rate this property as a step lower. The rooms are a bit tired, the room personal amenities like min bar, snacks, were lacking. Food quality at restaurants was decent but not memorable! It feels like the property has cash flow issues."

"The hotel was beautiful, very high above central Capri. Room was clean, bed hard, the staff very accommodating. Breaskfast had good choices and fresh coffee. The pool was the highlight! Wondered if anyone ever felt any paranormal activity here. The only con was the walk to the hotel. Uphill, no taxis allowed that high. Walk was brutal but beautiful"
