"When we arrived they did not have our booking and did not have the room we booked available. We stayed overnight in a room which would been better described as a cell ! No window . When we went for breakfast nothing offered! We did not stay any longer."

"The resort is on the river side of the main street, but only 200 metres from the ocean beach. Fine restaurants are in walking distance. There is a beautiful garden with two large swimming pools. "James and the team make this property outstanding! There are a few fixes needed in that the bedside shelf was hanging off on one side and the patio doors didn’t close fully but the value for money is great. The staff really can’t do enough here or at James beach shack. Will definitely be returning "

My only nit pick is there isn’t a travel desk or hotel concierge and we were asked to speak with taxi drivers directly to plan any trips. The restaurant staff was overall nice, but some of them seemed a bit over-eager to please and when asked for vegan options, pointed us to food that wasn’t really vegan, without checking with the chef, or requesting clarification what vegan really means.
