“A bit pricey”
Staff was very good but very hungery for tips, bellman, room service, maids, also our room did not get made up one day, we told the mid we were leaving pasted her in halls and forgot to take do not disturb sign so not made up, when we got back too late to worry about it. The warm cookies wonderful but should be extended until 11 pm
“very comfortable hotel”
hotel is adjacent to a riverfront park and an easy walk to most of the sights in the oldest part of Charleston. Lobby is small and functional, with an available computer or internet access, and hotel has WiFi, and the lobby has cookies and milk at night, some candies during day. Desk staff are very helpful, as is the bellman, who also handles valet parking. there is a fee for parking, but unlimited in/out, totally convenient. rooms are large, clean, very quiet, and all expected amenities are there. breakfast is included, and can be taken in room or in 1st floor atrium, where there is also coffee/tea all day. they also have fruit all day. bathroom is large, plenty of hot water. room temperature very comfortable. lighting good. a lot of storage in closet and in dresser/TV stand. bed was particularly comfortable, with enough good pillows. bathrobe provided. enough electrical outlets. the only quibble for some might be that some rooms face to rear of hotel, where the view is of electrical distribution equipment. automobile access to hotel is easy. there is bus stop next to hotel (Charleston has a network of free tourist bus lines). lots of really good restaurants close by. neighborhood of hotel seems very safe, and there are many tourists around at all times. also many good stores, art galleries, historic houses of worship nearby. my wife and I absolutely would stay here again, and we really liked the Charleston experience.
“INCREDIBLY PAMPERED”
My husband and I enjoyed a six-day stay at the HarbourView Inn. It was everything we expected and more. We felt incredibly pampered enjoying the complimentary wine/cheese social nightly, the complimentary cookies/milk nightly, the complimentary breakfast delivered to our room every morning at the time we requested, and especially the prompt service (always with a smile) of the staff. It was our first trip to Charleston and our first stay at the HarbourView Inn...we can't wait to return someday and stay there again.
“Will be back”
In and out for one night - great location, large room, comfortable beds, great staff, parking on site. Looking forward to next stay.
“Super fantastic!!!!”
Everything was fantastic! We were spoiled and really enjoyed ourselves. Sara in particular was absolutely top notch!!!
“Charleston by the water.”
This hotel did not disappoint. From a perfect on-the-water location to the immaculate rooms the HarbourView Inn was a perfect choice for us. Having the choice of breakfast delivered to your room or enjoying it on the rooftop was an added perk. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay.
“A wonderful experience”
We stayed for 5 nights May 13 - May 18. Excellent service - staff were so friendly and always willing to assist you. Complimentary breakfast arrived on time and was very good. Extra muffins, juice and fruit available downstairs as well. Nice wine & cheese reception in the afternoon. This inn was centrally located and in walking distance for many restaurants, market square and shopping. Would highly recommend to everyone.
“Best in town!”
Every need was taken care of by this friendly staff. The memory foam beds were the most confortable bed I have ever experienced! The rooms are spectacular and the service is 1st class without being pretentious. From the daily continetal breakfast served in room, on the roof deck or in lounge was perfect! Daily free wine & cheese and nightly fresh baked cookies & milk were addictive! The amenities were 1st class, but you will not be made to feel uncomfortable at any time. The location is the best in the city...right on the harbor, walk to all old town attractions and restarants and access to the free around town shuttle at the front door. I could not find a fault with this hotel or staff! I would definitely return or recommend this establishment!
“Fantastic hotel!”
