“Great Staff from top to bottom”
This was a pleasant stay for me! The place was clean neat and the staff was the reason! Everyone was very helpful and pleasant from the front desk to the people that clean the room to the people that made our breakfast every morning (great breakfast)bacon eggs biscuits & gravey,fruit and rolls. I was very glad to be staying at a place that cared about my comfort like these people did.
“Nice Hotel”
Very convenient to Ann Arbor. Hotel was very clean with an excellent breakfast buffet. Pool area was small and crowded, but my kids did not seem to care. Overall, great place to stay!

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was quite spacious, even the bathroom was big. The only thing that I could recommend would be to provide more counter top space in the bathroom. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations.

The hotel was well kept and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful when necessary. Didn't like the fact that the window did not lock on the 1st floor. Other than that - our stay was very enjoyable and I would recommend the hotel to others. Chris
“Comfortable in Chelsea”
We had to get a room while visiting relatives in Chelsea and were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We would stay here again.

There was no microwave or mini fridge in the room at all. The paper cups and the coffee was not refilled for our weekend stay. Only the trash done up.
“Hated It”
I booked this hotel because of a great rate and its proximity to an event I was attending. This was a very busy weekend and other hotels were already full. Upon arrival, I was told that the room I booked SEVEN months earlier(a room with 2 queen beds) was not available and that I would be "upgraded" to a room with a king size bed and a pull out couch. The pull out couch was horrible, so 2 adults and a six year old had to spend the night sharing the king size bed. We were able to switch to our preferred room on the second night, but that did not help the fact that I was not able to sleep well the night before the event. At check out, the Assistant General Manager told me there was nothing he would do to compensate me for the first night, trying to tell me that he did me a favor by "upgrading" me to a room I did not want and could not sleep comfortably in. He also proceeded to tell me that it was Expedia's fault that I was able to book a room that he claims was sold out a year in advance. I find it hard to believe that the hotel is not responsible for making sure that travel companies know what rooms they actually have available.
