“Wonderful Gym; reason for going back”
Nice hotel with what could be one of the best Gym's in the UK! Equipment level is state of the art.

Quite a surprise. A lovely hotel with very good facilities. The staff were what amde the visits so good. Superb service and very friendly.

Had a 1 night stai in St David's. Room nice and clean, everything you could need in the room. Nice quiet location, no traffuic noise at night, close to Chester and all attractions. Good breakfast in the morning, only downside is the way they serve your tea or coffee, it's waiting in the pot on a table, which means it has been sitting there maybe sometime before being given to you. Tea and coffee should always be made to order!!

Good Food, Good facilities, special offer booking what more do you need. There was a smell of food in the corridors probably due to poor extractors in the kitchen but it did not spoil anything but should be looked at.

Great value, clean rooms, cost friendly bar, very friendly staff. Only critisism is that the restaurant had a 'greasy cafe' smell to it.

What I've come to expect from Village. Good standard of decor, clean tidy with no fuss. Good pool and nice bar/restaurant. Grounds are nice and it's easy to find. Pub next door does cheaper food if you are on more of a budget (or just fancy something more straight forward - which we did!). Child friendly judging by the number of munchkins about not that they bothered during our stay. We were visiting Cheshire Oaks, admittedly it was some distance away but not long in the car along very good roads.
“Awful place”
Tired, outdated hotel. Not a bit like internet image. Bedrooms poorly furnished - could have been anywhere in the world. Absolutely no character. Swimming pool tiny. Food was really disgusting. Never had such a poor meal anywhere in my life. No choice of menu - not what internet description said. We ended up with cold carvery, greasy pasta and greasy potatoes. Breakfast was ok. Staff were very poor, unmotivated and could not be bothered.
