“our room was so small but nice”
I've never been in a hotel room quite so small-but it was nicely done. The Expedia description said the room would have a sofa/sofa bed which it did not. The clerk who met us at the front door (very small lobby also) was very accommodating and arranged for a roll away to be sent up which it was. But there was barely room for it-thankfully we were only staying one night. We came with three people instead of two and the clerk did not try to charge us or make an issue of it-so we felt it was pretty much a wash. The Direct tv kept going out in our room. The restaurant right downstairs off the lobby, Bella Bacino's (I think) was very good-really good Chicago pizza-but not as good as Gino's; good breakfast-a little different choices for a change. There were computers in the lobby for use and we were able to get access to them without much wait.
“Great Hotel”
I would definately return to this hotel. Great location, service and business amenities. Nice extras like bottled water, comfy duvet, and print from room services. A very pleasant stay.
“Small room, great location”
While the room was small, it was a great location right near Wacker & Michigan. The Club Quarters ameneities, with free access to internet and computers and Starbuck's in the lobby were great!
“Very impressed”
My room was small, but very well fitted out, containing everything I needed, and very comfortable. The Club Quarters at Wacker is very well located, you can walk almost anywhere a tourist would want to see, from Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile, to Millenium Park and the Loop.
“great place with great view”
Great Hotel - I took the "Queen bed in the slightly bigger room" room and had a very nice time. Would come back again and again.
“Nice Hotel”
Room was quite small, but very comfortable, clean and quiet. The furniture was arranged well, so I was not tripping over things although. Very convenient to the best of Chicago, and I had a super nice view. Too, it was reasonable in comparison to nearby hotels.
“Loved It.”
Paid the rate for the "room with a view". First room did not have it. Called the front desk and they offered a few rooms to look at. One of them was on the 41st floor. It was an awesome room! Large, very clean and with windows everywhere. Only caveat was climbing additional stairs to reach the room. No problem. They sent a bellman up to help us move our luggage. Great location for the boat tour, shopping and for breakfast. Valet parking was great. We left our car there for nearly 2 days as we toured the city and did not have to pay additional charges. Loved everything and would stay at this hotel again.
“A real bargain”
I've stayed here before for a conference and found it to be a real bargain - clean, comfortable and quiet. My one negative observation is that the desk staff at check in know that the people staying there on the weekend are not members, so they tend to be rather dismissive. If you're willing to overlook that initial psychological hurdle (and I obviously am, since I came back!) it's great.
“Great hotel at a great location”
The room was somewhat small, but adequate in size for two. The room had a wonderful view of the Chicago River and downtown skyline. The room, as well as the entire hotel, was beautifully maintained.
“Wonderful location, Nice room, Friendly restrauant & good food”
I would certainly go back to this hotel. The people in the hotel and restrauant were wery friendly and the restrauant has very good food. The cleanliness of the room and service was exceptional. Very convenient location and priced reasonably. I have seen complaints about the small room, but I found it to be to be very acceptable (Maybe not a family of four). There is so much to do in Chicago that you don't live in your hotel room. I would certainly stay in this hotel when I return to Chicago. The river view is exciting.
