Oak Street Beach is popular for sunbathing and swimming during summer months, when lifeguards are on duty. Five miles from the hotel, the Sydney R. Marovitz golf course offers a challenging and scenic nine-hole course along Lake Michigan.

“Great Location”
Great location on the Miracle Mile (through the Northbridge Mall - "Nordstrom" written over entrance). The main entrance on Rush street spills out onto the Northbridge shops/restaurants. Short walk to the CTA (Grand/Red line). Mall has plenty of choices, plus a Starbucks and a Walgreens within 2 blocks (on Michigan). All felt very safe. John Hancock also walkable distance (take a fast pass if there is a queue).
“Nice!”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very accommodating and they made me feel very welcome. The room was small and had absolutely no view, but for as much time as we spent in the room, I hardly noticed. I would compare this hotel to Westin's I've stayed in, but with a more personal touch. I can't rave enough about the great staff! If you want high class at bottom dollar, I would recommend this hotel.
“Excellent Hotel, except”
Hotel was excellent and conveniently located close to shopping and good restaurants. Only poor point was breakfast at the hotel restaurant stopped at 10:30am; not good for a Sunday morning.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Perfectly located for shopping, dining and any and all entertainment. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Best sleep I have had. I highly recommend this hotel for business or pleasure. GRADE A++++++++
“When going back to Chicago, this is the hotel I will be staying at”
This was the best hotel to stay at!!! The service was excellent, never once were we treated as travelers. The best place to eat there is the Terrace resturant they have on the 5th floor. Best view of the skyline and streets at night and the best drinks. I will definetely stay there again when going back to Chicago.
“A Chicago Great”
For our second trip to Chicago we booked the Conrad Chicago at a very reasonable rate for a four-and-a-half star hotel. Check-in was very quick and easy. We were, surprisingly, placed on the 14th floor--pretty good for our cheap rate. The hotel room was incredible, complete with a large soaking tub and separate shower. Concierge was at our beck-and- call... We got complimentary shoe shines, slippers, pillows--you name it, we got it free. It was in a prime location, above a plethora of shops that are sure to empty your wallet. The hotel bar, Rendez Vous, was intimate and well-priced. We just wished it was warmer so to experience the terrace, which is closed seasonally. Everything about the Conrad Chicago screams luxury, and does not do it subtly. It was like having a personal staff, people opening doors, hailing you cabs and valeting your car. It was wonderful. I would definitely stay there again.

“A Magnificent Mile Experience”
I cannot fault the hotel and the services on offer. Location was great and the city view was as it 'says on the the tin'. Value for money, hassle free, clean and safe. Would certainly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy a few days in the centre of the 'Big C'.
“Already Planning Next Stay”
This hotel is great! The atmosphere was high society. The decor was first rate. The food was absolutely divine and service was impeccable. The room was everything expected and more! We can't wait to get back for a longer stay.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the the bathroom was luxurious. All and all, a wonderful stay.
