“Great little hotel for a Chicago vacation!”
During my recent 5-day stay, the Chicago Knickerbocker Hotel was everything that I wanted: a small, quiet, older "boutique" hotel located in the best possible spot for fine dining and shopping! Although it is an older building, so much has been done to make it comfortable that I was completely happy in my stay there. My room, a double, had no "view" because it is located close to the John Hancock building and only a block off of the Magnificent Mile, prime and expensive property. But the loss of a view was more than made up in comfort: sparkling new luxury bathrooms, prompt room service and a great lobby lounge, and absolutely superior housekeeping. My room had a small refrigerator, for convenience, and a large, new television with terrific cable selections. The bed is more than comfortable, it is luxurious: pillow top mattress, lots of nice pillows and linens, made to my order each day! On rare occasion, when I asked for special treatment, I was always accommodated in the most pleasant manner. As a famous general once said, "I shall return."
“Old World Charm”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Millennium Knickerbocker in downtown Chicago. The area was very nice, very convenient to the Magnificent Mile, shopping, food, etc. The staff was absolutely super nice. The hotel was aesthetically pleasing with its Art Deco old world ambience. We were very happy with the overall service of the doormen and the valet parking staff as well as the front desk personnel. We will stay at this hotel again if we are in Chicago.
“Good choice”
Very nice hotel, stayed for 3 nights. Nice room, nice amenties, big TV, good food (had the calmarri and a great burger). Pillows were super squishy but I asked for firm ones and got them. Good location, very happy with the hotel and would stay again.

The location is great for shopping and such. Just walk out the door to Michigan Avenue. Great bed, very good food in the hotel.
