“Review”
The staff was very professional and the hotel was very clean. The hotel is a bit old but the location is fantastic!!! There is no breakfast but lots of options nearby...
“Second Stay...Will be a Third”
This was my second stay at this hotel, and I would come back again. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. We did not have a problem with anything/one. The location is very convenient to downtown shopping, dining (I recommend Bandera and Grand Lux Cafe), and theatres. The price is a great deal for location. (There is one negative...It is somewhat close to a hospital and every once in awhile during the night ambulance sirens were heard. Big city experience comes with big city noise, though!) I can't say enough positives about this hotel.
“Great Location”
This hotel is in an excellent location for the price! It was very clean and the staff was very helpful! It was not as fancy as a more expensive hotel would be, but it was comfortable!
“Convenient and friendly”
Rooms are small, but clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is superb. The lobby, though small, served us well in meeting family staying in a nearby hotel. Cappucino machine in lobby was appreciated plus. I would stay here on my next visit to Chicago's Magnificent Mile.
“Good inexpensive hotel”
This is an excellent inexpensive hotel, clean, and with very friendly and helpful staff. They really went out of their way to give me some advice. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, and the central location is perfect.

“PERFECT LOCATION”
when it comes to booking a hotel I really look into things to make sure its in the right location, and this HOTEL WAS PERFECT! less then ONE block from shopping, food, evertyhing! it look 10 steps to get where we had to go, great service, next time im in town im staying there! plus its such a great deal for downtown chicago, its the cheapest i found and i looked for days!!! GREAT HOTEL!! thanks REDROOF INN!!!
“enjoyable stay”
i stayed at this hotel for 4days/3nights. the location was perfect. it was in the middle of downtown chicago. around the corner from the miracle mile. i found it to be perfect
“The photos don't do it justice.”
The service was excellent. The room was quite clean. I am a clean freak - practically obsessive-compulsive. The room was small but quaint. Good lighting. I am quite particular about my bathroom and this was very clean. The bed was comfortable - and I am also particular about that considering I've had two back surgeries. I will stay here again. Let's face it - when visiting Chicago I'm interested in entertainment and moving about the city. This is an excellent location for a great price.
“Nice place to stay in Chicago”
Came up to Chicago to see a concert at "The House of Blues". This was within walking distance, clean and comfortable. I would have no problem staying there again.
