“Our Fabulous Stay at the Swissotel!”
My husband and I stayed here for my Birthday weekend and we were so happy with our decision. The staff was very helpful and nice. It was a breeze to check in and when we arrived to our room we were amazed by the wonderful lakeview. We both have been in Chicago all of our lives but we felt like we were in another city, it gave us a different perspective on the city we thought we knew. Overall, we had an unforgettable time and we shall be back!
“Great hotell”
Great hotel, friendly staff , good beds...nice adding more more lines,
“Great for Taste of Chicago”
Short stroll from the Taste of Chicago annual food event and the parks. Nice view of the nAVY pIER. It seemed like it was a little too east along the river for the transit service but it was fine. The room was very quiet and clean, my only gripe was the TV was a little old and would flutter out after a few minutes on some channels, was annoying when I was trying to watch the World Cup. Rooms were a little pricey but overall worth the price. Check In and Check out was a breeze. The Lobby Lounge was a cool place to hang out. The pool area and fitness center has unique views.
“Enjoyed our stay”
Stayed for a week on a family vacation. Great view of Navy Pier from the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
“Very nice”
Pretty hotel, clean rooms, helpful staff, nice amenities.
“Chicago + Swisshotel = A great time!”
We had a super time at the hotel. Yvonne, the concierge, was brilliant in getting us tickets and reservations...she spins about a hundred plates at one time. Taxis were readily available when we had reservations, and her estimates of travel time were dead on. One night the housekeeping staff forgot to leave us bath towels, which was a bit awkward, and also forgot to fill the tissue box (a housekeeper in training?), and it would be nice to have four coffee sachets in the room instead of two...on weekends, who doesn't need that second cup of coffee after a great night out on the town? However, a quick call to the front desk and more coffee magically appeard at our door in a mnute, so that wasn't an issue. I will definitely stay at the hotel the next time I am in the city.
“Very friendly from all staff members, corner room great view of river”
My plane from boston was 5 hours late so didnt check in until 330 am. The front desk check-in was fast knowing I was tired. He asked me if i needed anything from the Staff, food etc. The room was clean and the view was spectacular. The best experience was all the greetings anytime I met an staff member, asking if everything was alright. The Barmaid, Maryanna was very friendly along with her fellow worker, Ola (SP). Every time I stepped into lobby I was greeted with an wave and an smile. The front desk staff and concierge did the same. But after alot of site seeing and going to an wedding, it was great to walk into lobby after an long day and spend time at the bar, eating and drinking. She even introduced me to new drinks, that I so enjoyed. I brought an date to the bar and we were treated like Kings and Queens. We had plans to go out, but the service and food was so great we spent over six hours in the lounge. My date worked at another hotel closeby and was impressed at the service Maryanna provided. The room was so comfy and spacious, including the bathroom, which had big windows so that you could look out at Navy Pier and the river boats. The location was great, for I didnt have an car and was able to take cheap public transportation to all the tourist sites. I was able to walk to Navy pier and some museums. I travel every year on vacation, even own an timeshare but Im so glad I picked Swiss hotel. I will be going back again this year to see more of the city.
“Looking forward to next year's stay!”
This was our 2nd annual trip to Chicago. We stayed at another hotel last year and was not so impressed. We look forward to next year's stay at Swissotel. The only complaint's we had was the fact you had to pay to use the pool and fitness room, we never used them and got plenty of exercise walking and going for our run in the morning's. The cost of parking should be based on if you remove your car during your stay. Leaving your car parked your entire stay should reflect a lower parking rate. Overall we were very pleased.
“Great Visit to Chicago”
Excellent hotel; excellent location; excellent service. Would definately return when in Chicago.
“best beds ever”
My cousin and I spent the weekend in Chicago. This hotel was a great location, Expedia gave us a great price! the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was huge. We would definitely stay again.
