“Beautiful hotel in great location”
Close to everything I wanted to do in Chicago. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Only problem was the bed was a little to soft for me. Breakfast featured delilcious pastries!
“Great hotel in The Loop”
I just enjoyed a great 1 week stay at the Blake & would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in downtown Chicago. Extremely friendly staff, generous sized rooms and a convenient location with many attractions like the Art Institute, State Street shopping all easily within walking distance. Free wi-fi was a welcome bonus as were the efficient lifts which were far more reliable that many hotels I seem to stay in! Complimentary breakfast is in the adjacent Custom House bar restaurant but as others have commented its just a small continental breakfast, coffee, juice, muffin, fruit & that's about it but there's plenty other options including Starbucks across the road. I look forward to staying at the Blake again when I'm next in the Windy City.
“Perfection for a couple's getaway”
We loved it, gorgeous room, sexy furniture, sleek rooms but not in an overwhelmingly formal way. It felt like a hot little getaway hotel!
“Wyndham Blake a Winner”
Loved It. Close to lots of Chicago museums and only a short hop on the train to the heart of the Loop. Everyone really accomodating. Happy hours in the lobby and nice large rooms. Concierge staff very delightful and helpful.

Birthday celebration of adult child in Chicago. I was the first to book my room at the hotel. Because of the name recognition of the brand, the others in the group followed my example and booked. Staff was courteous and very friendly. We felt safe in the hotel and neighborhood. Brand name coffee in the lobby area was expected and coffee area well maintained.

“Bright, modern hotel in the heart of Chicago”
Lovely hotel, very helpful and cheerful staff and nice large, clean rooms. The hotel is in a great location - the 'El' train from the airport goes directly to La Salle which is literally a 2-3 minute walk away from the hotel, plus it is in the 'Loop area' of the city which is right in the heart of downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

An older historical building in the trendy "Printers Row" clean comfortable modern and walking distance to Grant Park and the "Loop" with its shopping and entertainment and restaurants.
“Practical Perfection”
If your hotel expectations include a grand lobby boasting velvet and chandeliers, this one is not for you. If you're looking for friendly service and a great room, you've found what I consider to be one of the best in my experience. The lobby was tiny but the rooms (I saw two) were clean, comfortable and well appointed......better than what we had at the Ritz last year. If I have one quibble, it's that I've come to expect just a bit more from the quickie breakfast fare.
