“Good for the Exhibition Centre”
Good Clean Simple accomodation for business travel.
“A really good find”
We were pleased when we arrived at the Hotel to see that it was an impressive building that appeared to be clean and welcoming. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who were willing to offer advice about the area and activities. Although the hotel isn't in the city centre we felt we were in the right place to avoid the crowds during Carnival and the journey into town was very easy using the tram system. The rooms were large, clean and very comfortable and reguarly cleaned, with plenty of useful amenities. I would definitely reccommend this hotel for a visit to Cologne.
“Fantastic Value”
For a family of 4 with older children this was perfect. It is the cheapest we have stayed in, convenient for the city centre by underground (4 stops), and very comfortable.
“Location”
Extremely comfortable and reasonably priced hotel, but not centrally located. Great for people with a car who are on the go during the day.
“Slept like logs!!”
Great value hotel. Handy for Cologne/Bonn Airport (22 Euros by cab). Really comfortable beds and had our best two nights' sleep in a hotel for some time. No problems with our late arrival (at midnight) and the bar stayed open until 1am for a very welcome Koelsch! Good breakfast selection. 10 minutes walk to the U-Bahn at Kalk Kapelle (warning: part of the walk takes you under dark railway arches) which is 3 stops to the Messe and 6 stops from Heumarkt in the Altstadt. Recommended, great value for a weekend break.
“Nice Hotel”
Hotel was nice service and clean. But food was not so good. But the train station is 500 meters from hotel and Buses too.
“Hotel Koeln”
staff very freindly and helpful, will answer any questions you have. room basic but comfortable, clean and warm. restaurant nice but expensive, i would advise you eat out.
“Very Clean Hotel”
This hotel was perfect for me due to it's location. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpfull and the rooms are very clean. The only negative point I have was that there was no tea or coffee making facility in the rooms and as I was not staying for breakfast It meant I was unable to have a drink in the morning.
“A great Base”
Perhaps it's just German efficiency, but this place was quality. The staff were so helpful with directions, information on the best places to go, and even giving us complimetary things like tooth brush (forgot it). OK so the place is not city centre, but it's a ten minute walk to the tram stop and then 15 scenic mins in. Dead sure we got loads for our money (we were on an Expedia 3rd off deal) The hotel's well fitted, in an accessible location.
“Value for money”
The hotel staff were extremely helpful. I had a problem with our rented car (Avis) and the staff actually took care of it all, called Avis and coordinated a replacement. All in all our stay was pleasant. My only comment would be the dinner at the hotel restaurant, very expensive and far from tasty.
