“Would love to return someday”
Nice, clean, friendly service in every department. Loved that it was close to the cathedral, Rhine river and old downtown area.

Very good location, near everything in the center on cologne. Rooms were nice. Friendly staff. note, there is hotel parking around the back. there is also another one on the side which is independent. But costs are the same and good security.

Ideally located. We had a view of the cathedral from our room. Construction work happening in the street outside, but the rooms are very well soundproofed and we heard no noise at all. This will only affect you if you plan on spending time in the lobby bar, as the work obstructs the view, but there are many better places nearby to have a pre-dinner drink.

Wonderful hotel in a central location. Modern, clean and comfortable. Restaurant overpriced, however.

The hotel was first class and I would recommend it to everybody. However, there are three issues I would like to comment on - 1) Our room, although very comfortable, was a little on the small side but was equiped with everything from drinks to toiletries. 2) I would recommend that guests from the UK take a portable kettle and coffee/tea making items. 3) Breakfast is very expensive and guests should breakfast just around the corner opposite the Tourist Information.

Very helpful when I lost my wallet. Called the taxicompany, found the driver and paid the 20 Euro to make him take the trip back to the hotel. Always a joke in the dining room. Good atmosphere.
“Best Service and Confort in Cologne”
Poosr access due to construction site. Out of Hotel control though. Made up for it in service. Concierge was amazing and extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was gorgeous and incredibly confortabale. Could not fault the rooms or the beds. The hotel generally was what you would expect from a world class 5 star hotel.
“Excellent location!”
This is the perfect hotel for sightseeing in Cologne. Right next to the Dom and very convenient for walking to any other attractions. Parking and breakfast is expensive, but the hotel is very close to coffee and pastry shops. There is a string of restaurants 2 blocks behind the hotel along the Rhine. We ate at 2 of them and they were wonderful. The desk clerk recommended restaurants and gave us walking directions for everywhere we wanted to go. The room was a good size (for Europe) and immaculate. The shower was good, the bed was comfortable, and there was plenty of storage space. There are smoking rooms available which are not easy to find anymore, and the windows open which was nice. My only complaint is that the bed was low and I didn't like the pillows, but hey, that's nothing compared to the excellent location. This hotel is a good choice for tourists visiting Cologne, but be prepared for pricey parking. Once you're there though, you don't need the car for anything.
