“Basic but Clean, Comfortable and Fantastic Location”

This is a super nice Ibis. They provide real glasses for the bathroom and the room is spacious, relatively speaking. I needed a place to sleep for one night and wanted a place near the train station and easy access to shopping. This Ibis is very proximal. I had no trouble sleeping and am usually a light sleeper.

“Convenient location”

The location of this hotel is excellent being central to the altstadt and literally under the Dom. I cannot fault the service, cleanliness or the comfort. The only downside was having to pay for Wifi in the rooms, although it was available downstairs in the lobby/cafe area.

“Central location and good value”

As we were travelling around Europe by rail, the location of the Ibis Koeln Am Dom within the Hauptbanhof was very convenient. Staff were pleasant and helpful, the room (typical Ibis) was comfortable, clean and well maintained, and the buffet breakfast offered a wide choice. The central location allows very close views of the Dom, and exploration of the old town. Only downside was WiFi in the room incurred a charge.
