“Great price, decent location!!!”
Great hotel and great location for the price we paid! 5 min walk in to the old town which for me made the trip! Really helpful staff, spoke better english than my german! Only one slight small problem was that we had no kettle in our room,travelling with an eleven month old this made it hard to sterilize his bottles! overall great though!
“Excellent value - just a short walk to the city centre”
Excellent value hotel. Reasonable size rooms, comfortable beds, smart communal areas. Only downside is that it is a 15 min walk to the centre of Cologne.

Very clean and simple but more than adequate for a long weekend Breakfast was excellent too! Staff were friendly and helpful Ideally situated in the City for sightseeing
“Cologne - great hotel”
This hotel was a 5 minute walk to Heumarket and was a 10 or less walk from Dom. I highly recommend the hotel breakfast!
“Very nice and conveniently located”
I stayed here for a night only and my time was great! The location was great and I could see many attractions. Beware it is not super close to the train station, it is located in a nice neighborhood but I did walk to it from the Central Station and it took me at least 30 minutes. It was on a gorgeous day, so I didn't mind the walk through the Rhein, but if you want to be next to the Cathedral, this is not the place. The room was great, fresh, and spacious. Woke up late for my check-out, meaning I left an hour later and they didn't charge me an extra night or said anything bad. I appreciated business with these guys. They do what they are doing :)
“Better than 95% of what we say in Europe”
After traveling threw several countries, we enjoyed this hotel so much we stayed an extra day. Would highly recommend, and one of only a few a family of four could stay in.

The hotel is ideal for families. The room was very clean and comfortable and the walk into Cologne itself is reasonable, especially as most of it is along the banks of the Rhine. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.
“Family Friendly”
Our family (2 adults and 3 kids) wanted a location where we could park our car and walk to the main points of interest in Koln--this hotel served us fine. I would recommend this to family and friends.
“Cologne trip”
The Novotel Hotel was was an excellent choice while we were in Cologne. It was about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral, 5 minutes to the Chocolate Museum and about 15 minutes to the New Market. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. There was a wonderful restaurant about 2 blocks behind the hotel - Rheinau, I believe was the name.The hotel is highly recommended if you don't mind the walk to the Cathedral.
