“Good location, nice place”

One of those nothing-to-complain-about experiences. I was a little concerned about the parking situation, but it turned out to be a reasonable city structure linked by an enclosed bridge, with free exit on weekends. Swell restaurants nearby, too.

“Excellent Choice”

As a frequent traveler to Columbia, I think that this hotel offered the best experience out the three others I have stayed in. I am pleased with the convenient location downtown, the cleanliness, the service, and the number of hotel restaurants. In addition to the hotel restaurant, one is in walking distance to a variety eating places to meet your need (e.g. cost, fast, light). If you want a quality experience, this is the place to stay.

“I was very impressed with the details and elegance of the room”

This is at least the sixth hotel I've stayed at within the last 12 months and it was, by far, the best. The details that "wow'd" me were: down comforter, tons of pillows, real ceramic coffee mugs and half & half -not powdered creamers (for in-room coffee). Room was totally immaculate, graciously decorated, and very comfortable. Staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.

The Hampton Street Vineyard restaurant across the street from the Marriott is a fabulous place for a dinner for two or a large group. EXCELLENT!!!!

“Was a very good choice”

We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay except for the pillows which were just awful! Other than that we could walk to the Vista area and to other Columbia sites. All in all, will stay at this hotel again.
