“More than satisfied..We will return”
After a disappointing stay at Columbia's Comfort Inn a few months earlier, I decided to do a little investigating before this trip to find a hotel that suited us better, and after reviewing Expedia settled on Stoney Brook. I was certainly glad I did. I don't need 5-star amenities (nor do I like paying for them!) but found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. I was in town to visit Mizzou, and the campus was close and easily accessible. I will definitely stay here again for Parent's Weekend!!!

“nice hotel, 2nd time staying”
This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel for my trips to University of Missouri. Both times have been a very good experience. The hotel is very clean and has a unique decor that is easy on the eyes and gives a more relaxed feel. The staff was very accommodating and friendly with answering local questions and directions. The hotel is an easy drive to campus, lets say 5 min and parking is ample. The free breakfast was of acceptable quality along with the coffee. Free internet was accessible. There is a small watering hole for those that like adult beverages. Other things: water pressure was great, very clean, quite, no weird smells or traffic noise. Will be stay there on my next UM trip when it comes up... Did not try the weight room or pool.
“Wonderful Stay”
This was a very nice hotel. Checked in very early, and was able to immediately connect to work with great WiFi service. Breakfast was always great. The evening lounge was reasonably priced, and the bartenders were exceptionally nice. The front desk and all staff were extremely friendly. We had a wonderful stay. The showers could be a bit rough, they are low flow shower heads, and the water pressure is a bit harsh. However, everything else considered, we had a great time and will definitely stay again if we go through Columbia Missouri again. (Shakespeare's pizza - a recommendation from the bartender - was exceptional, and they deliver to the hotel.)

The hotel was convenient for trips to MU, very clean and homey. I would definately stay there again.
“adorable place to stay”
We enjoyed our hotel experience at Stoney Creek. It had great amenities and a good breakfast. The decor was fun and cheerful. They even have a special at the lounge every night which we enjoyed. Overall, we wish we could stay there again (hopefully our daughter applies to Mizzou when she graduates).

The hotel staff was very pleasant and accomodating. The breakfast was very nice. The location was extremely convenient based on the access to the University of Missouri.
“Best Hotel Stay in Years!”
At first, I thought the "Great Outdoors" theme might be a bit cheesy, but it was actually quite comfortable! The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a deluxe king room. It was remarkably spacious and clean. We chose the Stoney Creek Inn to round off a 3 day weekend of biking and camping along the Katy Trail, so our initial draw to the hotel was the indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub built into a bear cave. These alone made the stay absolutely worth while! Actually, the pool and hot tub were awesome! They even stayed open until 11pm, which is later than most hotels, in my experience. The hotel offerred free hot coffee 24/7, free hot/cold continental breakfast, and free access to a computer room with a printer and internet . I would totally reccommend this hotel to anyone!
“Cute, Quiet, and Well Located”
Our stay at Stoney Creek was great. Every time I've visited Columbia I've either been to far away from Mizzou's campus and the business district or I've stayed in hotels near those areas that I'd never stay in again. It was cute and clean. It was also quiet because it isn't on a major roadway. I appreciated the hotel's effort to go green. Be sure to check out the pool and hot tub grotto; it was nice.
“Great hotel stay”
Columbia is a college town. With that said, there's a lot of social things going on...bars, music, college games, etc. So, the action is there, but if you're looking to go back to a nice hotel room I really recommend Stoney Creek. It's outside the city, but close enough to be there in 10-15 min. The hotel was cozy and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There is shuttle service to and from airport at no cost which was a very nice convenience. I even persuaded some friends that had stayed in town to transfer hotels and they were extremely satisfied that they did. It was very comfortable. I had an issue with my refrigerator and the staff was more than accomodating in offering another room, but swiflty had maintenence fix the problem so I could remain in the same room. I highl recommend it as one of the nicer hotels in the area. The hotels closer to town are a little college worn.
