“Holiday surprise”
We stayed Christmas Eve after visiting relatives and it was not crowed, which we expected. We have paid more for much less. The room was superb, roomy with all amenities and spotless. Unobtrusive service and very convenient.
“Great spot for OSU business travelers”
Everything was as I expected--very clean and above average. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I appreciate the extra luxury of a terry bathrobe in the closet. Free wi-fi also a great amenity. I stayed only one night, but I would come here again if I'm ever back in Columbus.

My daughter and I stayed at the Blackwell when we toured the Ohio State University campus. It was perfect, we were right on the campus. The htoel is very clean and comfortable. The staff was great, giving us a map of the campus and marking the easiest way to get to the areas of our interest.I would definitely go back.

Perfect for OSU events - football/basketball games or other events held in those facilities. Short walk, parking is easy, hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds.

This is a really one of a kind gem, very comfortable and clean with excellent service and amenities. We highly recommend The Blackwell to anyone. Despite the great hotel premises, we thought the restaurant was just so-so. Great location near the "Horseshoe" football stadium on the campus of the Ohio State University, and convenient to anything in Columbus.
