“The Perfect Place From Which to Spring ...”

Bear in mind that "tidy and quiet" and helpful staff are way more important to me than luxurious and gorgeous. My room was indeed tidy and quiet and I got quick help when I couldn't get the TV to operate. I was also given good directions for getting back onto the freeway as well as being given a map of Martinez.

“nice clean place to stay”

if you have to stay in martinez this place is a good choice for the price and location the owner runs the place his name is sunny and he is a good guy. it is a no frills place but everything works. there is a donut place right in front of the hotel. i had not seen a donut place in a few years. i will stay there again.

“Room was Nice”

As far as a room goes, it was nice. It hada table with two chairs, a refrigerator with a small freezer, a microwave, TV and free wireless internet. The tub/shower and toilet were in the same area, just enough room for them and the sink area with a bar for your clothes with a rack for putting luggage, etc above the bar was just outside the tub & toilet area. The sink area was adiquate to put your stuff out. They also had a coffee pot with coffiee and cream. We had a king size bed and it was comfortable. They offered a continental breakfast but we never ate any. If only consised of a couple of types of cerial, milk, orange juice and some individually wrapped danishes. There was however, a place to eat at just down the street within walking distance. The only problems we had was that they like to gather the bedding and towels by 10:00 am or so so they can wash them. We weren't always ready for them to come in. The other problem was with the card key. Everytime we used one of them, it would no longer work and we'd have to get them both replaced. That was rather anouying and didn't know why it kept happening. All that said, the owners were very polite and helpful with anything we needed. The room, as stated, was nice, not huge but not too small eaither - pleanty of room. No mold in the bathroom or anything like that. Even with them wanting the sheets early and the key not always working, we would stay there again. The room was very quiet also!

“Simple & Comfortable”

This is a comfortable two star hotel with a good TV. The management allowed us to check in three hours early, and this was really nice as it enabled us to go out in the afternoon and drop off our luggage.

“Very close to the John Muir National Historic Site run by the National Park Service”

The motel is a bit tired, but very clean. It was comfortable and the staff friendly. I used it for two nights.

“Would stay there again”

Quite impressed, it suited my needs well. It was easy to get to and had ample parking. Bed was comfortable, people were friendly. Only area of improvement would be the water pressure (seemed a bit lacking).

“Average motel”

Room was clean, well maintained. Only issue was with the bathroom door knob. This motel is pretty basic. The free breakfast is not that great. There are some fast food joints & a Safeway nearby.
