“Great value”
great location in central Copenhagen, the cheapest way to see this expensive city without feeling that you're scrimping.
“Best Deal in a very expensive beautiful city.”
My only issue was with the lumpy foam filled pillows...
“Copenhagens cheapest?”
We arrived in Copenhagen on the Swebus from Malmo and the walk to the hotel was minimal. Was nervous of how the room would be after reading some reviews and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's smaller than average, but how much time do you spend in a hotel whilst on holiday? The shower was bigger than I'd been led to believe and, being 6'4", I had no problems using it. Breakfast was fine and not boring for the nights we stayed. Our room was commodore class with twin beds. These were slightly narrow but, again, nothing too dreadful. Free wi-fi and a balcony rounded off a very suitable room.
“Cabinn City Copenhagen”
I stayed at this hotel during the summer of 2010. I have stayed at all kinds of different hotels in many different European cities and I was pleased with the Cabinn City. Much as the name would imply (a play on ship cabins) the rooms are not large (and are in fact quite similar to the cabin I stayed in on a ship a few weeks later). That having been said, I did not find the size to be a problem. I had room to shower, change, sleep and sit at the desk and use my computer, and that was in the smallest of the room types. Be forewarned that I was staying in the room alone, so I can't not say whether the small size would have been more of an issue if I had been traveling with friends or family. The room was always clean, both on arrival and every day after the maids came. I very much enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There were many options and the food was of a good quality. The hotel was in a convenient location and within easy walking distance to the train station, Tivoli Gardens, the Stroget shopping street and the National Museum. I actually walked all over the city center and never had to use public transportation, but I tend to prefer to walk over taking public transit. Expedia rules do not allow specific rates to be posted, but suffice it to say that the rate that I paid for the room was very favorable for a hotel in a major European capital with breakfast included and a convenient location. Therefore, I would recommend the Cabinn City to any of my friends.
“Great experience”
The Cabinn City Hotel is excellent. Everything looks new and clean. The only con is the small size of the room, otherwise is like a new 3 star hotel. The breakfast buffet was also very fresh and generous. The personel is very polite and informative. Location is perfect, next to Tivoli Gardens and two small blocks from the Central Train station.
“excellent hotel in Copenhagen close to main train station”
A very nice, clean hotel located a short walking distance from the main train station, and from the walking street (Strøget), in downtown Copenhagen. Close to Tivoli and many museums. For Americans used to larger, American-size hotel rooms, however, I recommend staying in a room larger than the basic single room. The single rooms, though maintained in excellent condition, are small (though probably typical for European budget hotels).
“Excellent hotel”
This is one of a small chain of very different hotels in Copenhagen. We chose this one because it was close to the station and the centre of town. Next to the Tivoli and 200 yards from the main square this reasonably priced hotel is a treat. However, the rooms, though very cleverly designed to maximise space, are not very big. We chose not to have the cheapest with bunk beds and were well pleased but some might feel a little hemmed in. At first there seems like there is no shower but, hey, a circular curtain runs around a ceiling outlet and presto the tiny bathroom becomes a shower room. this is also not a place to go if you like staff fussing around you. We found them polite and efficient but they had enough to do without knocking on your door to turn down your covers or offer you newspaers and chocolate! We understood that breakfast was not included but upon arrival discovered it was, which was most helpful because Copenhagen is not somewhere you can easily pop out for a cheap coffee and pastry. So, don't go for the very cheapest room unless you are very small or very poor and pick this one if getting to and from the airport easily is a priority, which it is for me on a weekend break. There are about 5 trains an hour to and from the airport and the journey takes 12 mins. We had done a supermarket shop and checked in within two hours of touching done.
“Brilliant location in a Marvellous city”
In one word - BRILLIANT; in more....we arrived in copenhagen via bus from Malmo, Sweden, Cab inn is only a few minutes walk from the bus drop off area / main train terminal. Cab inn is located right near the Tivoli and also VERY close to the shopping centre of Copenhagen. Within 15 minutes, you could be walking by the canals, taking a plunge into the harbour or just relaxing with an ice-cream one of the many parks. The Hotel itself was simple, but CLEAN, with super friendly and helpful staff, free internet (for 15 mins at a time) in the lobby, breakfast service if you needed it, and extremely safe left luggage area. we chose a room with twin beds, the bathroom was quite small but made use of the space well, linen and bath towels provided - EXCELLENT after staying the camp sites and hostels. I will be back!!
“Perfect location - Excellent for a short trip”
The hotel is very well located, just walking distance from Tivoli Garden and from the City Hall. Rooms are SMALL, but very clean and well maintained. It's perfect if you plan to be in Copenhagen for a couple of days and most of your time will be outside walking around the city. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable. Again, the only downside is the SIZE of the rooms, but not a big problem if you spend most of your day outside sightseeing.
“Very adequate and great location”
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, terrific continental breakfast. Room was very adequate for my needs.
